We have a parent working on maintaining sobriety. She is currently struggling with regular transportation, and all other resources have been exhausted. Client is seeking support in transportation costs to maintain regular attendance for treatment meetings and random UAs.

Client doesn’t live in an area that buses serve and is not in a physical condition to walk to a bus stop.

KVC is hoping to help a 5M child enroll in a summer Reading Program. This child is passionate about reading and learning and his placement wants to help him not lose any of the progress he has made reading this school year.

The reading program is called: Summer Reading Skills through the Bishop Seabury Academy in partnership with Avila University!

Hello care portal team, one of our case worker is working with Mrs. P, and her 9 month old baby. Mrs. P is currently in residential treatment and doing amazing in her recovery. She experienced domestic battery in the past and has been attending therapeutic services to aid her in her journey. Since she is trying and doing the best the she can, she is asking our community partners for help. Mrs. P, is wanting to start working again to provide for herself and her son. She has her CMA but it expires on August 30, 2025. She would like to take a Certified Medication Aide Update Course through Wecareonlineclasses.com to keep her CMA up to date. The course is $125. We are seeking your support to continue to improve the well beign of this baby and to continue to improve mom's outcome. Thank you for your help and all you do for our communities.

A newly licensed family has taken long-term placement of a youth who recently turned 18. He has been in foster care for most of his life, but has not been able to find stable placement. As he is getting very close to aging out, he desperately wants to gain the skills needed to succeed in adulthood. One of those skills is learning to drive. He has never driven a car but wants to learn. His placement would love to enroll him in a certified course so he can check that skill off his list! They have been able to help him get enrolled in other programs to support his goals, but the driver's course is beyond their means at this time. Please consider supporting this youth in gaining independent living skills.

We have a family who is really struggling. There are 4 children in the home all middle school aged and younger. They are requesting assistance with their electric bill that way they can still cover their other bills. The full amount for their electric bill is 310.54. However, anything would help them to get back on their feet. They have fallen behind on their phone bill and rent as well. If they received assistance with their electric bill, they could cover their other bills without having to prioritize any of them over the others. Thank you!

KVC is working with a family to reunify 8 children back home to their mother and father that has limited income. This family has worked hard at completing tasks to get the children back but have struggled with accessing additional income to have furniture in their home. They have had to sell their previous furniture to keep up with bills. This family is very close to getting their children back in the same home and need help with furnishing their home so the children can be comfortable adjusting back into the future.

This youth is residing with two other individuals (roommates) and unfortunately, has hit hard time due to vehicle becoming impaired and not fixable. She is needing assistance with rent. They have tried to get assistance from different agencies but have been unsuccessful. She has reached out to this agency as a last-ditch effort. If they could get assistance this will help them to stay in their current apartment as well as keep the utilities on.

The youth has worked to pay for gas and water and fix her car.
