Please help this single mother of 6. The mother was evicted after paying her rent up for several months and did not get her money back. This caused her to move into a 2 bed hotel with her and her children. While at the hotel her large suv was stolen and now she has no transportation to take her kids to school. I am asking for anyone who can help provide a rental car for the mom until she can hear back from the insurance company and/or save more money to get her own. I also am asking for someone to help with new hotel in a safer area for her and her kids for up to a month. Anything you can do for this family will be helpful!
A single mother of three is in need of beds for her children. The children are 10(male), 13(male), and 17(female). They have recently moved into their own apartment and they have been sleeping on air mattresses. If the family is able to receive these items, it will help them feel more comfortable in their new home.
The mother in this case is a single mom of 3 children under the age of 5, 2 girls and 1 boy. She was raised in the foster care system and has a very limited support system. She recently got a job after being unemployed for 2 months and moved into a new apartment and does not have a washer and dryer. She does not have extra income to use a laundry mat and has been washing the clothes in the sink for the time being. A washer and dryer would be extremely helpful to this family.
Maternal grandmother is caring for two toddlers who were removed from the care of their parents. She desires to provide long term care for the children in her home. The grandmother has recently moved into a larger space to accommodate the children, but is in need of living room furniture. Due to financial restraints, the grandmother is unable to afford furniture. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Youth is currently on trial independence. She will be graduating from high school in a couple of months and has plans to attend cosmetology school. She needs assistance in paying for her senior fees so that she does not feel left out. By assisting her it will assist with her confidence while also providing encouragement to her to never give up on her goals.
This case involves 5 children who were placed with their maternal grandmother due to substance exposure to the twin babies. The babies were in the NICU and have not been cleared for daycare yet. The grandmother had to quit her job in order to meet the needs of the children. We are seeking cots or a trundle for the older children and a swing for the babies.
Mom is a single mother of 8 who is trying her hardest to provide for her children as she unexpectedly lost the family's primary source of income . Unfortunately, she is unable to provide her children an appropriate place to sleep at this time. Should this need be provided, it would allow for the children to get a good nights rest which will hopefully help them succeed in school, as well as in their peer relationships. The family could use either single beds or bunkbeds.
Youth aging out of care/homeless in need of bedding for twin mattress. Bedding includes fitted sheet, top sheet, comforter, and two pillow cases. This bedding will allow the youth to gain access to a clean and safe living environment, the first step in the road to independency. Having a room and bedding that they can call their own will empower them to go out and reach their educational, vocational, and personal goals so they can transition into adulthood well.
A single mother currently in transition with 6 children are in need of hygiene items, uniform clothing, and beds. The family is also in need of wrap-around services for this family, as one children has Downs Syndrome. All children are Dallas ISD students. 4 children will need twin beds (bunk beds preferred - 2 boys, 2 girls) and bedding. I would love to set up a time to talk about wrap around opportunities with the churches responding.

Our small high school serves students 16-23 yrs who have not been successful in traditional educational settings, and have not graduated high school for a variety of reasons. Many have had trauma and chaos in their young lives. We have wrap around case management to help them graduate and become independent and successful. Our student is a young lady who is 18 yrs old and working diligently to graduate. She is pregnant and needs a crib, a baby swing, a full body maternity pillow and a car seat/stroller combination.
Our small school provides wrap around case management services to help our high school aged students graduate. We have a pregnant student living on her own who has very few items for herself and her "almost here" newborn. This young mom to be has faced trauma and difficulties in her young life that would debilitate most. She is very near to graduating and we want to support and honor her efforts as she tries to live independently. She needs a baby swing for the baby, but a full bed, bed linens, pots and pans, and flatware for herself

Hello, I am a CPS Kinship caseworker that is working with a family that are the current caregivers of their five grandchildren. They are a loving family, and the grandparents are trying their best to make the necessary accommodations and follow the DFPS guidelines for the kiddos sleeping arrangements. In order to do that they are in need of a bunk bed and two twin size mattresses. These bunk beds will help preserve this kinship placement.
This single grandmother who has kinship care of her three grandchildren, one of whom is Autistic and has significant therapy needs, is in need of car repairs. Currently the grandmother must rely on others for transportation putting a strain on the family's health and stability. Providing the funds necessary for the car repairs will help the grandmother continue to care for her grandchildren diminishing their risk for child welfare involvement. The estimate provided by the mechanic was $700. Connections to a trusted and reliable mechanic would also be of benefit.

A young mother was living in the streets with a male 25 years older than her. With him she was using multiple substances, using sex to get money, and being subjected to occasional physical abuse by the male. He was manipulating her to control her and use her to gain access to money and drugs. She learned that she was pregnant by the man when she was 6 months pregnant and returned home to her mother for support. her mother has helped her make better choices for the safety of the baby and the health of the both of them. Grandmother has helped to provide items for the baby since the mother had no positive associations, she has obtained almost all needed items with the exception of an infant stroller and swing. Mother is trying to go out to look for jobs and but does not drive so she needs a stroller to be able to take her son out with her if grandmother is not home. She stated that she will sit the baby in his car seat during the day so he is not constantly laying but it would be nice if she had a swing so he is able to move better than he can when strapped in car seat. The family is trying to get Mom back into a routine and has not requested any help from anywhere so they would be greatly appreciative of any help.
Father is caring for his two year old son. He is currently behind on rent and is paying out of pocket for childcare so he can work. Currently, all of his money is going towards childcare and is unable to pay his rent/bills. CPS is currently working on assisting with reduced/free childcare. He has not paid February rent and is in danger of being evicted.
Listed is the total amount of rent due not including the bills. Any help is appreciated for this caregiver.
A single mom with 2 children aged 3- and 1-years old needs assistance with their electricity bill. Once this need is met, the family will be able to maintain a safe home environment by having electricity.

Hello all,
An 8 year old female came into care after being removed from her family due to homelessness and severe neglect. She is now in an adoption motivated placement that is meeting her needs but also needs help. She has been in therapy since coming into care and her therapist has recommended that she participates in extracurricular activities as much as possible. She is the only child the caregiver has in the home, however, she is extremely exhausted after her workdays as a teacher. This child has taken a strong interest in learning to play the piano. She has taken the initiative to find a local resource that is available for her and is needing financial assistance at this time.
Tuition-$100
Workbook-$30
One time registration fee-$15
