We have a 12 year old female who is placed in a residential facility in Columbia, Missouri. Her family lives in Kansas City. Her sister and her aunt would like to be able to go and see their sister and bring her back on weekends once a month so that she can see her 5 other siblings. Family is really important to our youth and her being in Columbia has made it hard for her family to go see her. Her family does not have the financial ability to make it to and from Columbia often.
The request is for gas cards so that the aunt or sister can go pick their sister up once a month for a pass to see her family. I can keep the gas cards at my office and provide them to the aunt or sister once a month.

A foster parent needs assistance with a playpen with a Bassett attached, Twin size bed with rails, and a car seat (Grow with me from infant to toddler). This family is new to fostering a child and needs help to make the life of the child comfortable .
This client has a 5 month old and 2 year old child who are currently in CD custody but placed in the home with both she and the children's father. The mother is unemployed and remains home with both children. She is seeking employment to help out with the bills as CD will provide her family with daycare. The father goes to work. However the income isn't steady as the father is a construction worker and jobs are not only weather dependent but availability dependent. The father recently lost his mother who left behind a house that requires a monthly mortgage payment. The loan is through a company called "Mr. Cooper". The origianl loan amount on the home was $32,874.36 and the pay off amount is $51,550.21. The amount has increased drastically due to non-payment and late fees. This family is at risk of losing their home. This mother is very close to reunify with her children but in order for the children to remain in the parents home, stable housing is imperative. This family is at risk of losing their home as they've not been able to make a payment since December 2022. The requested amount includes the principal, escrow, and intrest. The loan company has requested a payment in the amount of: $1,438.75 no later than 3/24/2023. Please help this family maintain this home so that the children may remain with their parents.

I work for a low-income housing apartment complex, and we are in need of a bookshelf. We have been focusing on raising the literacy rate among our residents and were donated numerous boxes of books to help with this endeavor. We have also started English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for those who want to learn more English. Because of these classes and the donated books, we need a bookshelf to store the materials and books that our residents are now learning to read! Receiving this bookshelf would help us continue to serve our residents in an organized manner.
Special Instructions:
The bookshelf can be dropped off at the apartment complex office.

Two teenage children and the mother need some extra help with food and gas. Mom recently got her children back in her home and would love help with some groceries with a Walmart gift card or Aldi gift card and a QuikTrip gift card for mom and one for the daughter. Mom works two jobs to get by and her daughter just graduated high school and is working full-time. They need gas money to help to visit with dad and grandma and go to work. The son is attending school far from their home and that takes more gas money too. The family would appreciate extra groceries and any extra help you can provide. Thank you for all you do!

The Jackson County Children's Division is looking for $5 gift card donations for workers and investigators as incentives after long hard days or praise for a job well done. This moral booster would go a long way in helping the workers and investigators feel seen and appreciated by their community. Good afternoon, This family of three needs a washer and dryer. This family was homeless for six months living in a hotel; they obtained a home in January. The previous family left a washer, but it isn't operational. Mom works six days a week, and they are currently on the path to a financially sustaining life. This resource significantly contributes to that end.

DCCCA has been working with a family and is getting ready to pass services on to another provider who will work with reunifying children and parents. As a step in that process, the family needs to order birth certificates for two of the children in order to obtain housing. DCCCA would like to help the parents secure the certificates and begin working on obtaining stable housing before their case closes in the next few weeks. If you are able to assist in covering this cost to help these parents as they take steps to be able to have their children back to their home, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
A youth who struggles with enuresis is in need of a fresh, clean, new bed in his foster home.
His placement has a waterproof cover but would like to replace the soiled mattress with a fresh one before starting to use the waterproof cover.
