Mom is a single mother with one child and is currently expecting another in February. She works but has cut her hours back due to complications with her pregnancy. She was recently involved in a domestic violence incident with the father of the unborn. She is requesting assistance with an infant car seat and new born diapers.

Single mother has had two children removed from her care previously due to mistakes in her past but has a newborn and a chance to right her wrongs. There are no concerns with the safety of the newborn in her care currently and mother has everything she needs for the child. Mom moved into a new apartment which has a bed for her but nothing else. She is requesting help getting the basic furniture with a couch, tv stand, dining room table, and at least two dressers. We are also requesting a gift card for food and gas to help her through until she can get her girl into daycare at 6weeks and go back to work. This is the first time she has had her feet underneath her and is excited to be moving forward. Please help ensure she can do so comfortably with her littlest blessing!

I am currently working with a single mother of six children. The mother herself was in foster care as a child. She has lost her transportation due to the transmission going out on her vehicle, and the only available option is to call her former foster mother whenever she or the kids need a ride somewhere. The kids have access to the school bus but if one or more of them miss the bus on a day then mom has no way to get them to school. The school tries to provide transportation as best they can for the kids. Additionally, for any appointments, etc. the mother has no means for transportation. This request is to see if anyone out there might have a spare vehicle they aren't using that they could donate to this family. If not, then possibly a donation towards buying a car or repairing the old car if that is possible.

This family consists of a mother, step-father, and 4 year old child. Step-father just started a new job but has not been paid yet. Mother lost her job about a month ago and is still looking for a new one. The child is special needs with some challenging behaviors and is in services, which can make it hard for the family to maintain steady employment when having to take time off for service appointments and such. Mother is currently pregnant with her second child and has some of her own mental health challenges and is under a lot of stress. The family is behind on rent and they need to catch up to prevent possible eviction. This request of one months rent would be greatly appreciated to help the family maintain their housing and reduce some stress so they can focus on maintaining the child's special needs as well.

Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree Program is partnering with CarePortal to serve the children of incarcerated parents. This request is for two toddler girls and their brother. The girls like baby dolls, learning toys, and Barbies. Their little brother likes dinosaurs, cars, and batman. Per Angel Tree specifications, gifts should not exceed $25.
I am currently working with a single mother of four children. Over the past year this mother has reached out for significant needs as she is struggling to make ends meet and provide for her young children. She currently reports that she feels she is worse off now than she was this time last year. The school reports that the children have lice so badly they are miserable. The school is trying to remedy the lice in order to keep them in school and the mother said she has tried things at home but it hasn't worked so far. Additionally, the mother reports that her youngest child has run out of pull-ups and they are in need of some laundry detergent, and hygiene products. This request is for two lice kits, some pull-ups size 6, and hygiene products like soap and shampoo and laundry detergent.

Hello, I have a family on my caseload who has one child on a trial home placement, but because her daughter is not officially in her custody her section 8 voucher does not recognize her being on the lease in the home. This has also caused the Landlord to increase the rent in this mother's home, and with the increase she was not able to budget everything. She is disputing the increase, however she still has to make payments so she stays up to date. She is needing help to get caught up so she can keep the home, and she is able to keep her daughter in the trial home. We also want to transition the other child home as well. I am requesting any help possible to help her to get caught up on her back rent. Updated on November 14, 2023 by an Agency Worker I would like to send an update asking if anyone can even donate a little bit, this family needs this help, and her section 8 is going to reset in December. At court today the payment was recognized that she will still owe this money due to the way things happened.

This case is now technically out of the service area. Custody was granted to the maternal grandmother who lives in New Castle. If this request is fulfilled I will be willing to deliver the items.
This young man in this case is finally in a home where he is loved and cared for. He loves his new school, his new home and is gaining new friends.
The grandmother needs assistance primarily with cleaning items, toiletry items and a winter coat for her grandson. The request is for the following: laundry detergent pods, bleach, Lysol, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, dial soap bars, and kids shampoo. The winter coat that is requested would be a Youth 14/16.

Family took in two little girls, ages 8 and 9 to prevent them from going into foster care. This family is in need of bunk beds for the girls as well as bedding and mattresses. Their previous home was infested with cockroaches and mice and they were unable to take bedding, etc with them.

Please consider providing a family with a few items to help them get through some difficult times. The family could use some trash cans to keep around their house to help maintain cleanliness. They could also use some dressers so that they can organize their clothes. The teenage daughter is running low on clothes as well. She wears a size 3X and size 20 in jeans. Her shoe size is 9 1/2. The mother is currently out of work due to health issues and therefore does not have the money to afford these things.
Please reach out to FSS Carroll with any request responses or questions as I will be out of the office for an extended period of time. His contact information is as follows:

The family is living in rental property. The refrigerator that she owned stopped working in April of 2023. She has been using a mini fridge. She moved into a new rental property that did not come with a stove and refrigerator. She is using microwave to prepare meals. Having the proper appliances to store and prepare meals would ensure the family receives the best nutritional value in food prep and safety in food storage.
I am working with a mother whose 4-year-old daughter is in foster care. The mother has been completing her services and cooperating with the Department. We are unable to place the child with the mother, even to begin overnight visits until she has a place to live that is safe and appropriate for the child. The mother has just located an apartment that if she is able to pay the deposit, she can move into it on 9/1/23. The mother is able to pay some towards the deposit with income from her two jobs, but cannot afford the full amount. I am requesting help with the remainder of the deposit in order for the mother to be able to move in on 9/1. This will allow overnight visits to begin and is one step closer to her daughter returning home! Thank you for your consideration.
