Single working mom of 1 teenage boy currently staying with family 30 minutes away from his school due to AEP cutting her electricity off prior to her being able to work on a solution. Mom has attempted to get other solutions and is maintaining other bills at this time. Mom is driving her son to and from school at this time and child has good attendance. The total bill is $1,219.84 but to restore services it is $1,047.74.

Single mother with 3 teenage children with the oldest (15) being special needs (wears diapers and nonverbal) and youngest being 12 working to get better housing for herself and children after recent separation. Mother has found a place and landlord and is awaiting a confirmation. Mother has money for rent but needs assistance with the deposit as she has a lower paying wage in food service industry. The deposit is a month's rent of $895.

The Department is working with a family who is in need of a small used push lawn mower for their lawn. The family has limited income and the landlord does not provide mowing services.

There is a young couple with 2 small children we are involved with. The youngest child is on a wait list to be assessed for Autism and is nonverbal. The father has been unable to land a full-time job and does odd and end jobs as he can find them. The mother is on disability, recently lost her mother, and is now having to care for her aunt who is on hospice. This family has had a lot thrown into their lap recently and it has overwhelmed them. They are in need of cleaning supplies including trash bags to help them get their home back to normal. This family also had their washer and dryer go down almost simultaneously and the vehicle they have is completely broken down, so they are not able to go to the laundry matt to do their laundry. This family is very kind, and they love their children so much it radiates from them. Cleaning supplies needed- Dish soap, sponges, carpet cleaner, mop detergent, trash bags, gloves, bathroom cleaner, kitchen cleaner, toilet cleaner, other supplies I may have forgot to list. ALLERGIES NOTED The mother does have severe anaphylactic allergies to the following **LAVENDAR ** LATEX **TIDE

A single working grandmother is raising her two young grandchildren. The family is low-income, and the youngest child needs a twin sized bed frame in order to get his mattress off of the floor. He has asked his grandmother for one for a few months and she simply is not able to afford it along with caring for all of the other needs of the children. The two children are as sweet and polite as can be.

A student and his parents are evicted from their home effective April 30, 2025. The present plan for the student is to stay with his brother while parents live in their car. Parents may be able to stay at a nearby campsite a couple of days a week to have access to showers and other facilities. Assistance with non-perishable food items and some cold food items that can be kept in a small cooler is needed. Additional assistance with a couple of nights each week in a local hotel (preferably the one in Independence) will be helpful so parents can have access to basic necessities, and the mother can get to work in town. The family is on a waiting list for a local apartment in in the Independence town area. The anticipated availability is within a couple of weeks. The father's cell phone will be turned back on April 30th as he is searching for employment.

The Department is working with family who is assisting with the care of two children. This is requiring the family to transport the children to different areas around the community. This has placed a financial burden on the family.

The family is currently served as a parental placement in an effort to prevent the child from entering foster care. The family is limited in income and has filed for custody. The family is having financial hardship while adjusting to the additional child in their household. We are requesting funding for a $300 dollar gift card to help the family purchase groceries. If this need is met, then it will assist in giving the family time to financially adjust to the additional household member and court expense.

TCDSS is working with a single disabled mother with 3 children. The financial resources are limited. They are in the process of remodeling their home and are in need of totes for organizing their belongings.

TCDSS is working with a family that consists of a disabled grandma and her 16 year old grandson. Financial resources are limited and the house burned recently and been unable to replace everything that was lost. The 16 year old male is in need of some clothes and shoes. He wears size boys 12-14 (Medium) in shirts and size boys (not men's) 14-16 in pants or small Slim Men's Size 28waist and 28 length. He wears a size 7 in Men's shoes.

Mom and children are located here in Marion, and mother is a single mom of 4 children that are in her care. Mom escaped a domestic violence situation and while going through that she lost her job but has hopes of returning to work at a new job May 12,2025 but due to having to have an emergency surgery she may not get to start her job right away. She is in need of financial assistance with rent, car payment, insurance, and utilities.

The Department is working with family who is in need of immediate assistance in order to keep their children in their home. The family is in need of the following. MOBY BABY WRAPS X3 A 30 INCH WIDE ELECTRIC STOVE WITH A RANGE HOOD FILTER A REFRIDERATOR WITH A FREEZER A CROCK POT
