This request is for a single parent with 2 disabled children in the home. Her son recently underwent a serious surgery and mom had no choice but to take an unpaid leave from work. She tried to file unemployment but was denied since she is technically still employed. Due to this she is behind on her utilities. She used all of her saved money to pay rent and provide food for her family. Mom starts back to work next week but is needing help to get caught up for October and has no other means to get money. She believes once she starts back to work her family will finally be back on track. Account numbers will be provided for payment upon approval.

A young lady is wanting to go to see Rod Wave for her birthday. She is about to have her quincenera and her placement isn't able to afford as big of a party as it typically would be, so she is wanting to get her concert tickets instead. The seats she was looking at are Section 120, Row 26 on Ticketmaster. She is willing to do other seats as well for cheaper if it means getting her to go. The concert is on October 23, 2023. This a child in foster care who has experienced several traumatic instances in her life. She feels some of the songs relate to her life experiences.
This Park Hill family needs help with their electric bill. Mom was out of work, but recently got a new job, and gets paid for the first time next week. Dad has been out on medical leave and is having surgery next week. The family also moved to a new, more affordable apartment over the summer, and have been waiting and waiting for the bills to transfer over to their new address, and how much they owe. The received their electric bill, and it was quite a bit more than they anticipated, and included a disconnect notice with it. The electricity was then cut off the day the bill was due. The 7th grader brought the bill to the social worker at the school the day after the power was shut of asking for help. Social worker was able to meet with the parents, and once Dad is back at work after his surgery, and once Mom gets paid regularly they should be fine, but this shut off and higher electric bill is beyond what they are capable of paying. Parents are open to assistance with budgeting, managing and saving money.

Judith:
We, at St Therese SVDP, can assist with this bill with $600 on the back end, if we did not financially assist this family within the past year. Please contact me.

The family is new to the area and are currently living in a motel with their newborn. They are in need of a baby bouncer and a baby swing. Dad is working on an as needed basis at the motel and the family is not financially able to purchase the items needed for the baby. The family has applied for housing through Hillcrest and working on other options for housing and are not sure when they will be able to leave the motel.

At the middle school we are trying to meet the needs of students with barriers in the area of hygiene and we are trying to keep an extra stock of these items on hand to help with such struggles. I can identify 5 students right now that we are currently helping and are in need of these items. This will allow PCMS to serve these 5 students and many more as issues with hygiene have increased.
Special Instructions:
All items can be dropped off with PCMS school social worker Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 3pm.

Parents need the help with cost of Depends diapers for their special needs child. The child currently is in middle school and goes through roughly 8 diapers a day. The child wears Depends diapers size Youth medium/Junior Size. The parents' insurance does cover some of the cost but it will take quite a bit of time to be reimbursed. Thus, putting a financial strain on the family. This request is to assist the family as they wait for insurance to start covering the cost. The child recently started needing this type of diaper due to size and was previously wearing a different type of undergarment. The price of each pack of package is approximately $20 depending where they are purchased.
