Please help an expecting mother who is about to give birth at the end of this month (May 2025) to obtain a travel system stroller and car seat combo. The client and her family are struggling financially, as they are currently unemployed.

Please help a single mother who is currently experiencing some financial hardships. She is requesting a baby jumper to assist with child's gross motor developmental skills. Client does not have extra financial means to purchase one on her own.

A single mother of two girls 15yo and 7yo, has just recently lost her job, unexpectedly. Mom has no family that is able to help with covering bills. Moms car has recently broken down so she is having difficulty with transportation. She lives in section 8 housing and needs help paying water bill and rent payment. Mom has recently received a job offer and will start work soon. Mom and her family would greatly benefit from help bridging the gap between employment. Thank you for your consideration.

Dallas County Permanency Court Judge Gonzales has 15 youth who have never been adopted graduating from high school this year. Some are going to college, some are staying in extended care, and some are going into the work force. We would like to provide each of them with “Launch Baskets” to support them as they enter adulthood without family supports. Each launch basket will be tailored to each youth’s specific situation and preferences and will include a Bible and items such as new bedding, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and gift cards. The mom is currently not working due to having a baby. She hasn't been able to work since having the baby. Dad currently is working on and off jobs and at the moment they do not have income and family is helping. Mom stated she went to food stamps and applied,but she is currently waiting for the application to be processed. The family is needing help with groceries and baby items.

A dedicated single mother in the final five weeks of RCC’s nursing program is seeking assistance with summer clothing for her two children. As she prepares for the upcoming expense of licensing fees required to begin her nursing career, she is currently unable to afford these essential items.

Her 14-year-old son wears a men’s medium in shirts and size 14 in pants. Her 10-year-old daughter wears size 10/12 tops and 11/12 pants, she is tall for her age.

ONE CHILD IS NEEDING SIZE 18 TOPS AND SIZE 16/18 BOTTOMS (THIS KID IS UNCOMFORTABLE WEARING ANYTHING OTHER THAN HOODIES AND BAGGY SHORTS/PANTS) THE OTHER CHILD IS A SIZE 14/16 AND MAINLY NEEDS TOPS. ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE FATHER WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

A single mother of four children is in need of bedding for her children. Client was able to get stable housing for her and her children two months ago and beds but not bedding for them. Client is in need of a twin bedding set and a full-size bedding set. Client is also in need of a shelving organizer and bathroom shelf organizer. Client wants to provide a safe and less cluttered space for her children. Due to client’s limited income, she is not able to provide necessary items for her children. Client currently is not able to work due to her mental health. Client is eager to work on her mental health to be able to return to work. Client is currently working with Case Manager on her resume and preparing for a better future for her and her children. Client states she is fortunate if anyone can help. We have a young, single mother of 3 children (ages 1, 4 and 5). She is experiencing unstable housing and financial stress. The mother is a victim of domestic violence and is trying to keep her children sheltered and safe from harm. The mother has been residing with the maternal grandmother in a single unit apartment with the children. The MGM put the mother and children out on yesterday and stole the mother’s food stamps from her EBT card. The mother is not able to purchase any food for herself and the children. She was able to get a room in Hollywood through PATH and is awaiting placement in a DV shelter. DCFS and the agencies involved with this family are working tirelessly to find a residence the mother and children. The mother can be reached on her cell phone and the CSW is able to correspond with the mother accordingly. We are hoping that a donor will pick up this request and provide the family with a $300.00 grocery gift card or purchase food for the family so that the mother and children do not go hungry.

We have a mother who has a six-month old baby that is teething. The mother is very resilient and is thriving with all of her programs she is involved in. She is a domestic violence survivor and is using her experience to build and grow within her life. She is in therapy to address the concerns that brought her family to the attention of the Department. She is a domestic violence survivor. She is a good mother who truly cares for her daughter. During our meetings the baby is always smiling and giggling. Recently, the baby began teething and is in need of hypoallergenic-silicon weaning cups, baby spoons, feeding set, and food making system (NutriBullet). I am in hopes that some of these items can possibly make it to her.

We are reaching out on behalf of a local family in need. This mom, who has faced some significant challenges, is hoping to find support in obtaining a stroller and infant car seat in time for the arrival of their new baby, which is due at the end of June. The mother, who is expecting her second child, also has a daughter who will be turning four around the same time. They do not have a car and rely on walking and public transportation for getting around. This means having a reliable stroller is essential for getting to appointments, the park, and other necessary outings.The family is specifically in need of a sit and stand stroller, one that can accommodate an infant carrier car seat and has the sit/stand option. While they are open to gently used items, they hope to get at least two years of good use out of the stroller and car seat. This family has been navigating life with limited resources, and meeting this need would greatly help them as they prepare for their growing family. A stroller like this would make a huge difference in their daily lives, helping the mother transport both children safely and easily, especially given that walking and public transportation are their primary modes of transportation.
