We’re reaching out on behalf of a single mother and her young daughter who have just moved into their very first home after a period of homelessness. This new beginning is full of hope, but they’re starting completely from scratch, with nothing but their courage and the clothes they have.

They are in need of the most basic household items—things that turn a space into a home. Items needed include a twin mattress for the daughter, a couch, bar stools, kitchen utensils, plates, bowls, cups, a pot and pan set, cooking utensils, towels, rugs, and curtain rods.

This mother is doing everything she can to create a safe and loving space for her child. Any support—whether gently used or new—would go a long way in helping them rebuild and feel a sense of comfort and dignity in their new home.

Margaret is a single mother of 5. She has recently moved into a new place and started a new job. While she is making steps to create a stable home for herself and her children, she is not able to afford a bed at this time for herself nor her other children. At this time she is in need of a full/queen bed for herself and a toddler bed. I know that if she can receive assistance with these items she would be grateful, and it will assist her in getting a step closer to stability.

A Single father of 3 children recently moved into a stable home. He is in need of 3 twin mattresses for his children. They are currently sleeping in an air mattress. Dad reports he lost the bedding he had when he lost housing last year. He can't afford the mattresses at this time due to working on paying fines and having a garnishment on his paycheck. These 3 children will benefit greatly by resting more comfortable in their own bed.

Jaclyn is a single mom with 3 children in the home. Jaclyn currently does not have a job, and it has become increasingly difficult for her to find a job and get to and from places with a car that has two flat tires. Jaclyn would greatly benefit from having 2 new tires on her vehicle, so she can obtain employment easier and will be able to provide transportation for herself and her children.
The size of the tires are: 225 65/17 and they run about $75 per tire.
If you have some to give away that have good thread on them, they would be greatly appreciated by this family.

We are reaching out on behalf of a brave mother who recently made the life-changing decision to leave an abusive environment in order to give her two children a safer, healthier future. One of her children is young and lives with autism, requiring consistent therapy and care, which this mother provides full-time. As a result, she is unable to work at this time. Through incredible perseverance, she has secured stable housing with the help of HUD vouchers, and CSCDS was able to assist with the deposit and initial rent. Her son's SSI benefits currently help cover ongoing utility and housing expenses. However, she is facing one last hurdle: her family's personal belongings are still in storage, and she has no means of transporting them to her new home. With no local friends or family to assist, we are asking for help from anyone who may be able to lend a hand. If you or someone you know can assist with transporting her items, it would make a meaningful difference in helping this mother fully transition into her new beginning. Any support—whether through physical help, access to a truck or van, or connecting her with local resources—would be deeply appreciated. Family recently moved on their own and needs assistance with necessities. Family is requesting a crib mattress, toddler bed & bedding for female, couches, kitchen table, washer and dryer and size 2T/3T summer clothing for girl. Anything that can be donated is greatly appreciated, there are many items needed to be requested for this family but any help is welcome!

Dad works but doesn't make much and they are in financial distress. Mom is a stay-at-home mother with three kids that are all under the age of 2. Mother is currently looking for a job that will allow her to work when the father is not at work, so that he can look after the children while she works. They are behind on their electric bill in the amount of $172.40. Any help to this family would be greatly appreciated.

Dad is employed through the temporary agency; therefore, it is never a confirmed date for employment. The family does not make enough salary to cover all the utility bills. The family had reached out to 100 Families and was informed that the program was on a hold due to no funding. The family had also reached out to CSCDC and was informed they had no funds either.

Family is asking for a bunk bed to open space in the children's room and get rid of the broken bed they are using. The boys would appreciate the extra room to play. There are 4 children in the home that are in need of new shoes and some summer and fall clothes. The size for the two boys shoes are 1. They are into minecraft. Ones favorite color is yellow, the other is blue. Clothes for the two boys are 7/8. The two girls in the home are size 2t and 6c in shoe, and 24 month and 4c in shoes. The girls are really into the Bluey characters.

Family is in need of an exterminator to deal with a roach problem that that are unable to treat effectively. The family also consist of 4 children that love to play inside and outside and the parents struggle to keep things tidy to provide a place for the children to play well and could benefit from storage bin. The family would appreciate a place to help organize clothes and that they would appreciate a dresser.

Update the beds have been provided along with a couch, still in need of a dresser- it can just be plastic drawer sets from store if need.

Mother has had a case open with Foster Care for a while and just recently she got herself and her children an apartment, but unfortunately, they have very little or no furnishing at all. They are completely starting over. One child has a twin bed from a past care portal and the other child has a toddler bed.
