She has been the primary caregiver for her 6-year-old granddaughter, who has lived with her since birth. Despite her best efforts, she is currently behind on water and utility payments. She is deeply concerned about the well-being of her granddaughter, especially with the upcoming summer break, as the possibility of having the electricity and water shut off would leave them in a vulnerable and unsafe situation. A single mother struggling financially due to fleeing a domestic abuse relationship is in need of clothing and shoes for her two children. She has a 6 yr old daughter who wears a 6T in clothing and a 9C is shoes. Her 2 year old son wears a 2T in clothing and a 5C in shoes. Clothes can be gently used or new.

The family in need is a family of 4, consisting of a stay-at-home mom, a working dad, and 2 children ages 8 and 12. Currently they are struggling financially due to them moving to Texas from out of state a couple of months ago and being a single-income family. The family resides in a one-bedroom apartment, and they are in need of furniture. They would benefit from a sofa bed or an L-shaped couch since the oldest child sleeps on a loveseat in the living room. They are also in need of a dining table and chairs since they don’t have one and are using a ping pong table at the moment. The family would really appreciate assistance obtaining the following items: -Sofa bed or L-Shaped couch -Dining table and chairs

A grandmother on a fixed income is caring for her twin grand daughters that were born premature. Grandmother has to take the girls to the doctor weekly for weight checks and is unable to do so on her own as she is not able to carry the carriers on her own. I am seeking a double stroller for the infants.

With temperatures rising and three young children to care for, she’s deeply worried about how they’ll cope without electricity. Despite the challenges, she remains determined and is actively searching for employment to provide a stable life for her family. Any support during this critical time would mean the world to her and her children.

I am currently working with a single mother of 5, the youngest being 10 month old twins, who has recently been placed on temporary medical leave to undergo surgery. This mom is not getting paid during this leave and is worried she will not be able to pay her rent for next month without any income coming in at this time. The mom has been able to DoorDash here and there, but the pay is so little and inconsistent, it hardly covers food, formula and hygiene products for the family. This mom just recently moved into a home and is receiving housing, however, HUD is not willing to reduce her rental costs for the time being until she can return to work at the end of next month. Local resources for assistance with this one-time rental payment have also already been exhausted. I would like to request help for this most humble mother in the amount of $750 so that she may be able to undergo her surgery without having to stress about being evicted/homeless due to these unforeseen circumstances. I am requesting help with helping a family move their belongings to their new home. The family was homeless and their belongings are currently in a hotel and storage. They are requesting help with moving the items. This family is located in fort worth and moving within the city. if someone is able to volunteer for a few hours that has moving truck they would really appreciate it.

Help is urgently needed to reunify two young children with their mother and older sister. Childcare assistance has been approved but typically takes 7–14 business days to activate. In the meantime, this dedicated single mother is working full time, saving toward a vehicle, and doing everything she can to transition her family out of the Union Gospel Mission (UGM) homeless shelter into stable housing. She has secured childcare placement for her two youngest children, but without immediate funding, she risks losing her employment—and the progress she’s fought so hard to make. The total cost for both children to attend daycare is $462 per week. Just one to two weeks of support could make all the difference in helping this family stay on track for reunification, independence, and long-term stability.

With reliable refrigeration, they can safely store fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and other nutritious foods that were previously out of reach due to lack of storage. This directly benefits the child’s health by supporting consistent access to balanced meals, which are essential for growth, development, and academic performance. For the family, it reduces stress around daily food planning, cuts down on food waste, and allows them to take advantage of food assistance programs more effectively. Ultimately, the refrigerator is more than just an appliance—it’s a step toward greater food security, stability, and improved quality of life for the entire household. This family has 3 children of various ages attending elementary and middle school and 3 adults living in the home. One adult is a stay at home care taker for an elderly relative.
