Single mother of three children is in need of assistance with delinquent car payments. The parent has a child with developmental and mental health needs. She is the sole provider to this child and two siblings while working and attending college full time. This family has no other support from family, friends, or the children's father.

This caregiver is having trouble affording the rent of the home she is currently living in, as her former roommate backed out of moving in and left her with the full responsibility of the lease. Due to recent issues with her Autistic child, she had to miss work and fell behind on her car and house payments. Paying for her car loan to be brought current will allow her to have stable transportation for her and the children, as well as give her a fresh start on the remainder of her financial responsibilities.

Details of payment info will be provided to Connecting Church who takes the lead on this request. Funding is already secured. We just need a church to bless the family with making the car payment over the phone.

The caregiver and her family are requesting assistance to cover the rest of her rental payment for this month. The caregiver received the placement of her nephew in February, however, has been struggling with his behavior at school which has caused her to miss out on work. The child has been kicked out from several daycares due to his behaviors, and the caregiver has had to miss work to pick him up and stay with him during the day. The child has a history of trauma which they are working through in therapy and with medications. The caregiver and the team are looking for services for the child to manage their behavior. The caregiver wants to keep the placement of her nephew but needs extra help due to the circumstances. The caregiver is currently receiving funding; however, it does not cover her total rent. The case manager was able to get funding for the child to attend a summer program, which would allow the caregiver to work fulltime without interruptions. The caregiver will be able to cover her future rent payments once the child is in summer care.

4. Description of Request: Mother is the sole caretaker for both of her children. Mom has a stable job and is working towards getting a second job currently. If the family could receive $300 to put towards a hotel stay, it would ensure that mom and the children would have a safe place to stay for the next two days while they search for their new home.

A struggling single mother and 4 year old child are currently homeless after an incident took place in which displaced them from their home. The mother has no phone to contact relatives up north to discuss relocation. Our agency is taking the lead on helping with flights to get them back to their supports once she has reliable communication to make the arrangements. A government, prepaid minutes phone would suffice. Just enough to get her through a couple weeks of communication. She is unable to work as the father is no longer in the picture and she cannot work without childcare. I am able to assist in meeting with anyone who is able to fulfill this request to meet with mom as she is not housed currently and she does not have a means to contact if it were to be picked up. We are requesting support for three siblings: 11 (M) 9 (M) 7 (M), who are currently experiencing their first summer in care. We would like to provide them with a meaningful and enriching summer experience through participation in a week-long local church camp (Lithia, FL), martial arts classes and Bible Study.

This opportunity would give the children a safe and nurturing environment to build friendships, develop new skills, grow spiritually and have fun during the summer months.

A kinship caregiver is needing assistance with her rent payment for the month. The caregiver has taken in her 4-month-old nephew and due to buying all of the necessities that the child did not have, has come up short on her rent payment. In addition to her nephew in the home, the caregiver has 2 children in her home that will now be at risk of losing their housing. The caregiver is waiting for her caregiver funds to start and has only just started the process for foster care. If assisted, the caregiver and her family will continue to have stable housing and will not have the fear of losing it or having to find a new home. Any assistance is appreciated!

When the request is met the family will have continue to have a stable household without concern for housing.

A single mother of four children (ages 8, 9, 12, and 15) is in need of clothing for her children. She recently started a new job but has not yet received her first paycheck. Two of the children receive Social Security benefits, which helps, but the family is still experiencing a temporary gap in income. Clothing assistance during this time would ensure the children are comfortable, confident, and well-prepared as the family works toward greater stability.

Mother is a single mom to three very young children and recently lost her job due to lack of transportation and childcare. She is struggling to make rent this month. Her child support payments have not come in yet for this month which she relies on for paying her rent. She is interviewing for new work now, and has secured child care moving forward.
