Hello! I have a 16 year old male that has been struggling to get to school and has diabetes. The teen has an extensive history of trauma, as his dad passed away of alcoholism and his mother is currently homeless and struggling with substance abuse. The teen is currently living with a family friend that took him in to avoid possible foster care placement, and also has children of her own. The teen has been saving money to get a car for reliable transportation to school, and needs $200 more dollars to purchase the car. If he were to walk to school, it would take him about an hour, and this poses a risk for him passing out due to his diabetes. His caregiver leaves early in the morning for work, and is unable to drive him to school. The teen is wanting to get back on track with his academics and be the first one in his family to graduate from high school. We would greatly appreciate the remaining $200 for the teen to be able to purchase a car to get to school. Thank you!!

A first time mom is expecting her baby to be born in December and she is hoping to prepare for the delivery with the necessary items to care well for her newborn. The father of the baby was originally planning to support the pregnancy and the expecting mom, but they have now ended the relationship and he is no longer willing to be supportive. This mom is working in a warehouse but is limited in hours she can work due to an inability to lift heavy items. She is currently living with her sister, but is also looking into a way to find her own housing for her and the baby. This mom is asking for help getting a stroller, which will equip her to care well for her baby and offer the baby safety. We ask for new items. If the items are gently used, please be prepared to email photos for the mom's approval. Thank you for your support!
A family welcomed their second child into the world 2 months ago. Their older son is 3 and now they are also caring for a premature newborn. They have only a few of the items needed to care well for the children. They are asking for support getting a crib, and crib mattress. This would offer a safe place for the baby to sleep, and put the parent's minds at ease knowing both of their children have a proper bed. We ask for new items. If the items are gently used, please be prepared to email photos for the family's approval. Thank you for your support!

The child 's mother unexpectedly passed away a few weeks ago. The child was living with her mother and thriving after she was removed from her other mother's care. This has impacted the child greatly and she is experiencing a lot of grief and loss. She is now living with her mother's best friend and her family. The child does need some new clothes given she has outgrown some of her winter clothing last year. This worker is hoping that the child can have a gift card and be able to go shopping and pick out some new clothes for herself.

Dining room table (seats 4)
Dining Room Table for Apartment $130.00
Single grandmother took in her two teenage grandchildren so they didn't have to go into foster care. She was living in a 55+ community but had to move due to the children's placement. She spent a lot of her finances moving out and moving into a two bedroom apartment. She was able to purchase bedding for the children but does not have the funds for a dining room table. They could use help in getting a new or used dining room table that can seat 3-4 people. Any help is so appreciated!

The kin providers are caring for an 11 month old baby, and were initially requested to provide care by the mother of the baby. Since then, mother has been frustrated and has been harassing the providers, showing up at her home, making threats, calling them, and having her friends do the same. The providers are doing an amazing job caring for this baby and are very worried about their and the baby's safety. The family is requesting a home security system so that they may feel safer in their home and in caring for this child.

Parents to their 1 year old son are expecting their second child to be born in December. These parents are processing through their honest emotions of having two children under two years old. The mom is accessing support to process these emotions now to be in the best place she can to parent both of her children well. As the family prepares financially to support their family, they are asking for help accessing some of the larger items needed to safely care for their children. They need help getting a bassinet as well as a toddler convertible car seat. We ask for new items. If the items are gently used, we ask for photos to share with the family for their approval. We ask for three donors to split the request to serve the family as a community. Thank you for your support!

Navigator working with a family consisting of Mom and 5 kids (14, 13, 12, 5 and 3). Mom recently separated from her husband who was charged with DV involving mom and the kids. Mom is undocumented and the husband is a citizen. Mom was a stay at home mom at her husbands request. Mom says her husband has always controlled all the finances. Since mom is unwilling to drop the criminal case, the husband is refusing all financial support. The families Pastor met with Mom and took the keys to family home and car. Mom and kids had to leave their home with nothing and are attempting to start over. Mom is dealing with her immigration status which has been difficult because her husband took all important documents (SS, birth certs). Mom is constantly being reminded by her husbands family and associates that nobody is going to help her because she is not a citizen and that she should go back to her husband. Mom has been in this abusive relationship for 15 years and has dealt with prior physical violence but this was the first time his violence was directed at the children and not just her. Client cannot work until her immigration process is complete. Mom needs help with food. The kids are in need of uniform shirts for the new school the kids are attending ($27 per shirt through the school) . The kids need clothing, Pajamas, shoes etc. The transition has been difficult for the kids as they miss their old school and friends. The family will be grateful for any and all help given.
