A young couple is seeking important baby items as they prepare for the birth of their second child this summer. They are newly settled in the state, and most of their family and support live outside of the country. Though they are excited for this next season with their growing family, they are struggling to collect larger baby items. This mom is not working currently as she stays home with their two-year-old son, and her husband is their primary source of income. She has been very intentional in establishing her regular doctor’s care through this pregnancy and is also actively exploring what supports are available for their growing family. We would love to help to set them up before the birth of their child, so that they can confidently focus on the immediate needs of their two young children. They specifically need a car seat and stroller combination as well as a bassinet. These items would afford them the peace of mind of knowing they can leave the hospital after birth and set their little one up with a comfortable space at home. A single woman has recently confirmed that she is further along in her pregnancy than she originally thought. She has taken great initiative in establishing prenatal care in the last few weeks after making a brave decision to move forward with her pregnancy. Her initial concerns in delaying care were based on not having medical insurance and feeling overwhelmed by the possibility of high medical bills. She has consistent work, but her income is limited at this point. Though she has connected with her partner and his family and has their support for her next steps, she is focused on gathering larger baby items before her due date in June. She has been consistent in receiving emotional support as she is taking these steps, and we would love to help her to prepare physically for the birth of her little boy this summer. She needs a car seat and stroller combination and a crib. These items are essential as she leaves the hospital after birth and is setting up a safe and comfortable home for her new little one. Mom and child are residing in a shelter due to domestic violence. The child recently returned home to mom's care at the shelter. The child needs clothes, specifically pants and shorts, as he has grown out of his clothing. The child is 7 years old and wears a size 8.

Currently 3 kiddos are placed out of a moms care. She is a single mom in the Denver Area. We are opened on substance use. The minor children were substance exposed and there is a newborn baby. The kiddos were placed out of her care in December of 2024. Mom has made great strides but needs help with a few items for reunification. The team is working towards the goal of return home. This mom just entered outpatient treatment. She is on a fixed income and has maintained her apartment. The team is trying to move her visits with her kiddos in her home now that the home is safe and appropriate. She needs items such as child proofing locks for toilet, cabinet, doors, fridge and baby gates. She also needs a toddler bed and toddler mattress and some bedding for her daughter and bedding for her 7 year old daughter bed. She has a bed for the newborn and oldest child and carseats. She has a large walmart shopping cart in her apartment that is a hazard. She needs a foldable cart that she can take items up and down to her apartment. She has a spinal issue and cannot lift very heavy items and needs something more compact that she can put away out of the kids reach.

Client is a single mother of three, working on having the children return to her care. Client has been very engaged in treatment and has overcome significant mental health challenges and impacts from past trauma. Client is working on getting a vehicle to be able to transport the children to and from school, appointments, activities, etc. Client is trying to save money to make a down payment for a used vehicle; however, is struggling to do so as the sole financial provider of the home. Client is close to having the children return to her care; however, there are concerns about her ability to be successful without the ability to transport the children to appointments/school and assistance with a down payment for a vehicle would help ease concerns and help this mom meet the needs of the children.

They are a 18 year old who will be moving into their own apartment since being in foster care. They do not have a lot of stuff to take with them. They will need help with furniture and bedding and just furnishing their apartment in general. They are extremely responsible and have saved up a lot by working two jobs but could use the assistance as we all know starting out in a new apartment is extremely expensive.

I am working with a family that needs help with obtaining baby proofing items to help preserve the safety of the baby. Outlet covers, door handle covers or locks and two baby gates. The items it self or even a walmart gift card to help. Thank you!

Foster mom has anywhere between 3 and 5 teenagers in her home at any given time. She works will all of her placements on independent living skills to include helping them get jobs and extra curriculars. Currently she has a 13 year old and 16 year old girl that would really benefit from bikes. The 16 year old is currently walking about a mile each way for work and a bike would significantly help in maintain this job. Additionally, the 16 year old helps watch the 13 year old over school breaks so a bike for each girl would be used during this time. Their foster mom has paid for them to have a gym membership that is within biking distance but she is not always available to transport them. Thank you!

Youth is working on their independent living skills and is needing a bike so that he can get to and from his summer job. This bike would also improve this child's life by providing transportation to the gym while his kinship providers are at work.

This family consists of a single mom, living with her two daughters, one who is an adult and one who is a minor. This family has struggled with homelessness after leaving a domestic violence situation and is currently in stable housing. The mother is still struggling with her mental health after surviving the domestic violence and is unable to work at this time. The request of the family is for a washer and dryer, as their apartment has hookups, but no machines. This would greatly assist the family in saving money that would be used for getting to and utilizing a laundromat which is currently very frequent with two teenage girls. The time and money saved would be utilized for more pressing financial pressures that family is experiencing. If the expense is too high for both a washer and dryer, a washer would be preference.
