A young couple is seeking important baby items as they prepare for the birth of their second child this summer. They are newly settled in the state, and most of their family and support live outside of the country. Though they are excited for this next season with their growing family, they are struggling to collect larger baby items. This mom is not working currently as she stays home with their two-year-old son, and her husband is their primary source of income. She has been very intentional in establishing her regular doctor’s care through this pregnancy and is also actively exploring what supports are available for their growing family. We would love to help to set them up before the birth of their child, so that they can confidently focus on the immediate needs of their two young children. They specifically need a car seat and stroller combination as well as a bassinet. These items would afford them the peace of mind of knowing they can leave the hospital after birth and set their little one up with a comfortable space at home. A dedicated single foster mother is seeking support to help her 13-year-old foster daughter attend a local summer day camp throughout the summer. The child was originally expected to participate in summer school, but due to her unique needs, she did not qualify. With her foster mom working full-time, summer day camp would provide this child with a safe, structured, and enriching environment during the day. Camps in the area cost approximately $500 per week, and the family is hoping to access care for the full summer (approximately 8–10 weeks). This would allow the child to enjoy social connection, fun activities, and consistency—while ensuring the foster parent can maintain employment and stability in the home. Any financial assistance toward covering the cost of one or more weeks would be deeply appreciated. Your support will help ensure this child has a memorable, engaging summer.

A single woman has recently confirmed that she is further along in her pregnancy than she originally thought. She has taken great initiative in establishing prenatal care in the last few weeks after making a brave decision to move forward with her pregnancy. Her initial concerns in delaying care were based on not having medical insurance and feeling overwhelmed by the possibility of high medical bills. She has consistent work, but her income is limited at this point. Though she has connected with her partner and his family and has their support for her next steps, she is focused on gathering larger baby items before her due date in June. She has been consistent in receiving emotional support as she is taking these steps, and we would love to help her to prepare physically for the birth of her little boy this summer. Mom and child are residing in a shelter due to domestic violence. The child recently returned home to mom's care at the shelter. The child needs clothes, specifically pants and shorts, as he has grown out of his clothing. The child is 7 years old and wears a size 8.

Currently 3 kiddos are placed out of a moms care. She is a single mom in the Denver Area. We are opened on substance use. The minor children were substance exposed and there is a newborn baby. The kiddos were placed out of her care in December of 2024. Mom has made great strides but needs help with a few items for reunification. The team is working towards the goal of return home. This mom just entered outpatient treatment. She is on a fixed income and has maintained her apartment. The team is trying to move her visits with her kiddos in her home now that the home is safe and appropriate. She needs items such as child proofing locks for toilet, cabinet, doors, fridge and baby gates. She also needs a toddler bed and toddler mattress and some bedding for her daughter and bedding for her 7 year old daughter bed. She has a bed for the newborn and oldest child and carseats. She has a large walmart shopping cart in her apartment that is a hazard. She needs a foldable cart that she can take items up and down to her apartment. She has a spinal issue and cannot lift very heavy items and needs something more compact that she can put away out of the kids reach.

Client is a single mother of three, working on having the children return to her care. Client has been very engaged in treatment and has overcome significant mental health challenges and impacts from past trauma. Client is working on getting a vehicle to be able to transport the children to and from school, appointments, activities, etc. Client is trying to save money to make a down payment for a used vehicle; however, is struggling to do so as the sole financial provider of the home. Client is close to having the children return to her care; however, there are concerns about her ability to be successful without the ability to transport the children to appointments/school and assistance with a down payment for a vehicle would help ease concerns and help this mom meet the needs of the children.

Her newborn baby has had many medical challenges, requiring endless doctors' visits and facing many unknowns. This mama has taken it all in stride, but this hardship is wearing on her family physically, emotionally, and financially. This woman and her husband left most of their support system in their home country a year ago, and are navigating these stressors primarily on their own. They are in need of some crucial items to help support the recovery, safety, and wellbeing of their newborn son: a travel system, a crib and crib mattress. A teenage girl was placed into a kinship providers home due to ongoing concerns of neglect with her family. The youth was placed without any clothes and is needing clothing to meet her basic needs. The kinship provider is a single mom, and has a hard time affording many extra expenses. The youth enjoys shopping at marshals and would benefit from picking out some clothing to make her feel more at home and sustain this placement.
