A two-year old foster child who is a bright and active toddler has faced early life challenges and is currently adjusting. Recently, he has developed a habit of removing his clothes and diaper during the night, which has led to frequent messes, disrupted sleep, and increased stress for the foster parent. Despite consistent bedtime routines and various interventions, the behavior continues and has made overnight care difficult. Adaptive clothing designed with rear zippers or secure closures can prevent the child from undressing during the night, helping to maintain hygiene, reduce overnight clean ups, and support better sleep for both the child and foster parent.

We are reaching out on behalf of a devoted single mother who is doing everything she can to provide for her young child. She was blessed with a donated car—that allows her to get to and from her two jobs and care for her little one. The seats are in extremely poor condition—torn, worn, and uncomfortable. This mother works tirelessly every day, juggling two jobs. Even with all the challenges she faces, she remains positive and determined, putting her child’s needs before her own. A simple set of car seat covers would not only restore a sense of pride and comfort to her daily drives but would also bring a little dignity back to the space she spends so much time in. We are humbly asking for your help. A donation of car seat covers—for her used 2009 Lexus ES 350 Interior color Beige —would make a world of difference to this hardworking mom. It’s a small act that would bring great comfort, support, and hope. Right now, she is in urgent need of clothing and shoes for her little girl. Her daughter is growing quickly and currently wears clothing size 6 and shoe size 13 (children’s). With the change in seasons and the daily wear and tear of an active child, her clothes are becoming worn and limited. This mom is doing her best, but she could really use a helping hand. I am submitting this request on behalf of a family in need. A single mother of 5 children ( 8 yrs, 6 yrs, 4 yrs, 2 yrs, and 6 months) is in need of paying her car insurance ($140) and phone bill ($25). Mom is also in need of clothing for her 4 yr.old, 2 yr.old, and 6 month old children. Their sizes are 4-5T, 2-3T, and 6-9 months in clothing. Mom is grateful with any help she can receive. Mom is in the process of moving out of transitional living and into her own place. She just moved into her new apartment May 9th. She has absolutely nothing except for her and children’s clothing and toys. She was forced to start completely over when she left an unsafe relationship. She moved into a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment. She needs your help with one crib frame & mattress for the 1-year-old little boy. One toddler bed frame and mattress for a 3-year-old little boy. One bunk bed frame and mattresses are needed for two boys ages 8 & 12. One twin bed frame and mattress is needed for a 9-year-old girl.

We are requesting support for a young couple expecting their first baby. They are in need of an infant car seat with base. Any brand or kind will be fine. They are trying to prepare for the baby and get out on their own so this will greatly help them with their future goals.

The mother of 4 children in need of diapers, pull ups and wipes for her children. The mother is currently trying to find employment again is in need of some extra help with basic needs for her children. Diapers, pull-ups and wipes will allow her children with cleanliness, and comfort. It will alleviate some cost from the mother while she pursues employment. There is a mom with a baby under a year old who needs assistance with paying this month's rent. The mother has to move to a different apartment next month and that additional unexpected spending that she doesn't have the finances for. The mother has $1000 and is needing $600 to make up for the payment.

A mom we are serving through mentorship just had her second baby, she has a 6 year old who is on the spectrum. She had the baby over a month early, everyone is healthy but baby is still in the NICU for now. They are in need of some supplies. Mom was working as a security guard but does not have any benefits with her job so has no income currently until she is healed and ready to return to work. She lives with her mother who also works but struggling to keep up with only one income for now. With baby arriving early, they are in need of tiny sized clothes for him as well as some other items. This family has been working with Better Together through the mentorship program and has been able to obtain many things they were needing but lacking a few items. She is in need of diapers in size preemie or newborn, larger sizes can be grown into. Preemie or newborn size clothes, 0-3 months is swimming on him right now! Baby hats, socks, mittens---due to his size, he's having a harder time regulating body temperature. Preemie bottles, Dr Brown makes a special bottle for preemie babies. She is also in need of baby laundry detergent (Dreft). As well as a queen size bedding set for mom.

A mother was reunified with her daughter and is living at the Motel 6 in fort pierce. The mother is looking for housing and identified an affordable rental in Okeechobee. The mother has a stable job, however will need assistance with a down payment and furniture. The total down payment is $2550 and the monthly payment is $850. Anything helps to contribute to the down payment. The mother is also in need of a bed, bedframe, bedding, couch, and dresser.

This resilient family recently relocated to Florida and has just secured stable housing. While they were able to cover the costs of the security deposit and first month’s rent, these expenses have left them with limited funds for furnishing their new home. To help create a safe and comfortable living environment, the family is in need of: A small dining room table with 4 chairs. A standard-sized dresser. Any support in meeting these needs would be a huge help as they settle into their new space. Thank you!

The family is going through a traumatic event with the loss of a child. One of the other children a 2-yr old boy in the home is currently sleeping on floor as family cannot afford a sleeping arrangement. A toddler bed is being requested to help support the family.
