At this time, she would greatly benefit from assistance with essential childcare supplies—specifically, size 5 diapers (preferably Luvs or Pampers, if available) and unscented baby wipes. Hello! This request is made in regard to two sisters, a five and a ten-year-old, who have been recently placed with their grandmother. Grandma is currently going through financial strife at the moment as bills have been rising such as her utilities and mortgage and is having a hard time affording twin bed sheets for the kiddoes. A young mother recently endured a difficult pregnancy during which she experienced significant weight loss. Now postpartum and caring for her newborn, she finds herself without properly fitting clothing, as her current wardrobe is several sizes too large. This has created a barrier as she actively works to secure employment and build a stable life for her family.

She is in need of professional and work-appropriate clothing in women’s sizes 5, 6, or 7, and shoes in size 8.5. Access to clothing that fits will allow her to confidently pursue job opportunities, participate in interviews, and enter the workforce prepared.

Blouses, slacks, skirts, and dresses appropriate for interviews or office work

Aunt has her two nephews placed with her. The baby was sleeping in a bassinette and now that he is turning 4months old, she would like for him to have his own crib to sleep in. The family has just moved into a new home and the aunt would like for the crib to match the furniture that the older brother already has, as the boys will be sharing a room. The parents welcomed home their baby boy (1 month) about a month ago. The parents are committed to providing a better life for their child and is needing assistance with getting on their feet to do so. The parents are currently living in a RV on a relatives property and do not have a baby camera to monitor the baby when he is sleeping. The parents can benefit for a baby monitor/ baby camera.

The mother and her 3 children are asking for assistance with paying the rent. The rental assistance needed is $1288.94. This amounts payment may be paid through the apartment's app/website. The mother has missed quite a bit of work due to having a 16-year-old child diagnosed with ADHD, Learning Disabilities and suffers from extreme mental health issues to where she is baker acted every other week for trying to hurt herself. The mother reports she will be able to work her full hours once the child is in residential and wouldn't need to leave work early to tend to her outbursts.

Despite navigating the challenges of a recent separation and divorce, a mother remains steadfast in her commitment to providing a stable, nurturing environment for her three children. As she adjusts to her new role as the sole provider, additional support with essential clothing and shoes would greatly ease her financial burden.

A family (2 adults and 2 boys ages 7 and 8) recently relocated and are working to get their home set up. They are trying to get a dining room set, large couch/sectional, and curtains. They plan to connect with Mustard Seed's furniture program to get these items but cannot afford the full processing fee. Any assistance with either the processing fee ($200 total but they plan to pay half) or with the requested items would be appreciated. The $200 processing fee should cover all three items they are requesting through Mustard Seed. The family has indicated that they will make any and all arrangements to pick up the furniture from Mustard Seed or any other organizations. Caregivers suddenly took into their care a 3-month baby that weighed 16 lbs. They are in need of a stroller and car seat in order to be able to travel to appointments and other places in accordance with the state law and requirements. The baby must be in a car seat while traveling in a vehicle.

This request is submitted in support of maintaining the kinship placement of a four-year-old boy who has recently been placed with a non-relative caregiver. The caregiver has opened her home to provide a stable environment for the child but is currently facing financial limitations with the other bills in the home.

At this time, she is in need of assistance regarding clothing and shoes, as she has limited resources to meet these immediate needs. Gift cards would be incredibly helpful, but if that is not possible, clothing in size 4T and children’s shoes in size 9 would be greatly appreciated.
