The Department has been partnering with a family since late March, and they have achieved notable successes in their case goals. The parents are thriving in their jobs and continue to leverage services that enable them to lead self-sufficient lives and provide a safe haven for their children. After relocating to a new home in Stephens County, they require assistance to complete the deposit for their current rental. Having covered first month's rent and partial deposit they are in need of a onetime assistance of $400.00 to finalize their deposit. The family's dedication to keeping their family together is a true strength, we hope you'll consider supporting their relocation efforts.

The family is currently behind on their rent of $1, 825. Once the amount reaches $2,000 the landlord will file the eviction process. The family has 3 children that are all special needs. Family is currently working with a SSI disability attorney to possibly obtain SSI benefits for the youngest child. Due to the children's developmental concerns and services [OT, Speech, Physical therapy, and multiple medical appointments each week], only one parent can work. The family has a limited support system. Due to dad's gross income, the family does not qualify for many government services [SNAP, etc].

I have a grandmother that has taken guardianship of three children who doesn't have a working vehicle. Mother has been incarcerated, and grandmother is trying to help the children stay out of DHS custody and the situation they have been exposed to. We are needing someone to repair grandmother's car so she can transport the children were needed. Her car overheats and was told it was due to the thermostat. It is a 2012 dodge journey.

Please help make a foster placement! A single mom of three biological children took on two additional foster children recently. Mom is needing help with her water bill. The water bill is originally $600, but she is able to cover $200, so she's only needing help with $400. She's also needing assistance with clothing for the foster children (two children), around $300.

Foster parent has been attending nursing school. She has not had any income other than foster care maintenance payments for 2 boys. She needs help in maintaining her yard. Her weed eater just broke. The grass/weeds in parts of the backyard have grown tall. She has requested a weed eater so she can chop those down and then mow the yard. The boys do not currently go in the backyard to play. She cannot afford to hire someone to take care of the yard.

This is a request for supplies for an autistic custody child placed in a foster home since she was 3 days old. She has difficulty communicating verbally. She is learning how to use sign language. She is in speech therapy. She has fits when communicating her needs, and she is not being understood. There are specific care supplies for her to calm her and soothe her. She became a single parent overnight to four sweet children that have been placed in custody. Due to the increase of children in the home, she now needs more space. Can someone help her?
