A father of a 1 year old was granted unsupervised visits. He is employed full time but unable to pay for a car seat at this time. He would like to take his child to the zoo or the library for story time. He has reliable transportation but needs a little help.

A mother of six has done the work and now her children are reunified with her. She has only been able to afford a two bedroom apartment but with assistance has been able to find a larger house close to where the children attend school. When the children returned home she had to leave her night time job so that she could be at home with her children in the evenings. She recently purchased a used vehicle large enough to transport the children but the vehicle needed repairing taking all of her available savings. She is actively looking for work and needs assistance to move while housing assistance is still available. Please help this mother with all or part of this request so that the family can spread out a little and continue to build bonds with one another.

A father of 6 children would like to have visits in his home. He recently moved into an apartment and has no furnishings and would appreciate any help available.

A kinship placement was found for an Oklahoma teen with her great-aunt in Illinois. We are very appreciative that the aunt stepped up to care for her niece. Accepting placement of a child into the home comes with added expenses. The aunt needs assistance obtaining a bed and dresser for the child to keep her in the home. Service providers in the area were unable to provide the items. Obtaining a bed and dresser would help keep this placement stable and keep this kiddo with family. Please take note, the family lives in Illinois and the ability for an in-person connection is not possible. The items would need to be shipped. Thank you for considering helping our Oklahoma child!

Please help a little girl enjoy two weeks of summer camp after a very stressful year. Her third foster placement has proven to be a very good place for her to heal and be loved. She has been through a lot of trauma in her short 7 years. Her foster parents have expressed they need help with the cost. It will be a total of $260 ($130 per week). They would really appreciate the assistance. Payment would be made directly to the camp. Family YMCA Member weekly rate $130
Camp runs from May 27 to August 13 and foster family would like to sign her up for two weeks. Camp offers swimming, art, games, field trips, crafts, and more.

We are in a need of a new or gently used twin size bunk beds for two brothers ages 7 & 5 . They are already in trial reunification with their mother and CASA learned the boys are sharing a bed. Mother has limited income and is unsure when she'll be able to purchase bunk beds. While there is no current safety issue, the team agrees it is more appropriate for them to have their own sleeping space and have a sense of privacy. We have already reached out to other community partners with no luck. It would be a blessing if someone is able to donate bunk bed frame with mattress. This is a request for help obtaining tickets for day admission to the OKC Zoo. A mother and her three children ages (7, 6, & 4) have been in trial reunification for two months. Maternal grandmother also resides in the home and is an added support for the family. They are on a very fixed income and during a home visit with CASA, the mother mentioned she would love to be able to take the kids to the zoo, but that it would be too expensive. The children's basic needs are being met, but extra outings that would provide family fun and enrich their lives, are simply out of reach for this young family. If a church is able to donate tickets for the family, I am confident the family would have the time of their lives. These kiddos have never been to a zoo. This family is a family of 5. The mother is a single mom who has recently been reunified with her 4 children. The mother is currently working and has just recently saved up enough money to purchase herself a vehicle. The vehicle has helped the mom be able to provide safe transportation to get her children to and from school and to all of their services, and her job. Due to all of the recent changes and the purchasing of her car, the mother has come up short of her rent payment. She is still in need of $550 for the month of April. Parent needing a psychological evaluation and does not have the funds required for the evaluation. The mother is working to reunify with her daughter and is struggling with her finances. She currently is living out of state and will using her own funds to travel for the evaluation. This evaluation will help to ensure that she gets the support she needs so that she can provide a safe home for herself and her daughter. The total cost is $1200 but any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

This is a request for assistance with clothing and toiletry items for a 13-year-old boy in DHS custody. He was placed into a foster home with his sibling a few days ago after disrupting placement from a shelter and going awol. He has been in DHS custody for 6 months and is 1 of 4 siblings who is struggling the most behaviorally and emotionally. Foster mom for one of the siblings graciously accepted placement of him and she is working to help stabilize him so that he can have a chance to live in a home setting (vs bouncing from shelter to shelter). CASA has observed he is in need of clothing. Shoes men size 8, shirts 16-18 or men xs / joggers/ pants 14-16. He could also use some extra toiletry items such as deodorant, shampoo. We are requesting new or gently used clothing items, or a visa gift. In the event a gift card is donated, CASA will ensure kiddo has the opportunity to pick out his own things. Please pray for this young man as he has experienced significant trauma, was removed from a home with parents who struggle with substance use and mental health. Reunification appears to be poor prognosis currently. If we can help alleviate some of the financial burden from foster mom who has agreed to accept a sibling and help replenish this young man's wardrobe, we believe the family overall wellbeing will greatly improve, and it will lift his spirits and his self-worth. 13 year old is still in the same foster home and they are doing well. The need for clothing still exists as foster mom's finances are limited and she unexpectedly took placement of this child. Any assistance to help support this child and foster mom would be appreciated.
