This is a vibrant multigenerational home filled with the warmth of six individuals. They communicate in both Spanish and English. They would greatly benefit from the addition of two beds or mattresses, and perhaps a donated couch to provide more comfortable sleeping arrangements. It has been observed that two middle school girls are currently sharing a mattress with their mother on the living room floor, while a worn-out couch serves as a makeshift bed for other children when needed. Let’s come together to ensure that every member of this family has a comfortable place to rest and recharge.

Family with 7 children had to move out of their home within 48 hours as the building was condemned. They spent multiple months looking for housing and have finally found a place to live. They are in need of living room furniture.

Kinship placement has been unable to pay their past due water bill in order to insure continuation of service. Needs help towards this bill.

A single mother is urgently in need of assistance with her car payment, currently past due by one month in the amount of $300. She has received a final notice and is at immediate risk of repossession. The vehicle is her only means of transportation, essential for both her current DoorDash income and her ongoing efforts to build a more stable future. She is actively working with LINC on employment opportunities and has been regularly attending job fairs. She just began a six-month Medical Assistant program, a critical step toward long-term self-sufficiency and career advancement. Maintaining her vehicle is vital not only to her current income but also to her ability to attend classes and pursue a better future for herself and her family. She has expressed full confidence in her ability to stay current on future payments once this overdue balance is resolved.

Cass County Prevention is currently working with a mother and her paramour in regard to their rent and other utilities. The rent is overdue at the present time and the family has only been able to pay $500 so far this month. The paramour's next check is only estimated to be around $300, and the mother is attempting to locate employment; however, her application for childcare was denied so this makes it harder. Furthermore, the mother indicated their water was turned off today, April 24th due to the bill being past due. The remaining amount of rent is $700 for this month and in order to get the water turned back on it will cost $234.96. If the rent is not paid by next week, the landlord is talking about not allowing them to stay any longer in the home and terminating their lease. The mother is worried for her children, as she does not want them to be without working utilities in the home, nor to have to uproot them from their current schools.

The family was able to get the rent paid and stay in their place; however, the water still remains off in the home.

We have an infant in care whose mother needs to rectify some legal matters in Indiana before she can be a reunification resource for her child. The mother has indicated she is willing to go to Indiana to turn herself in to take care of the matters. The mother has no resources to purchase a bus ticket to Indiana. We are asking for a one-way bus ticket for the mother to Muncie, Indiana.

I have a mom who is in need of help with her electrical bill. Mom does not have anywhere else to go and has no friends or family to turn to in this time of need. Mom has a job lined up but is waiting to get her social security card before she can start working. Mom knows that the amount she needs is high and says any amount will be extremely helpful.

A mother in a Children's Division case is needing help with gasoline in order to be able to make it to her weekly court ordered drug testing.

Hello. I am working with a family with 6 children. Mom has been enduring emotional abuse from Dad and is ready to leave him in the hopes that she can put her life together and get her children back. She has a job but her husband has stolen her money. She needs help paying for a hotel until she gets paid in a week and a half. This is a huge step for her and may be her only chance at getting her children back. This has been an ongoing conversation with her and she is finally ready to do it. Visa cards or even paying for a night or two at the hotel from a handful of people can help us ensure that she can be safe!

Please help to maintain the adoptive home that this 12-year-old autistic child has been with for over 5 years now by assisting with payments to the therapist that has been working with both the child and the foster parent individually and together for over 2 years. This ABA and equine therapist recently moved to KS side, and no longer qualifies for MO Medicaid. This therapist has been continuing to work with this family without being paid, and we would love to pay her for at least a few sessions.

Failure to receive payments may make it difficult for this therapist to keep her business afloat, as she is using many of her business hours with this family rather than a family who could pay for her time. Please assist if possible! Thank you!
