A mother is working on achieving unsupervised visits with her children, but in order to do that she is needing help getting her driver's license reinstated. The cost for that is $38.50. She is currently in a sober living home and they have stated once she gets her license she can drive one of their vehicles to go see her children, but in order to do that she would be responsible for the gas. She is in need off gas cards to help her get these visits unsupervised so that she may see her children more often. She would drive to Owasso where her children are placed and then drive back to Pryor.

A foster family is needing help purchasing pull-ups for an 8 year old boy and a 5 year old boy as they both wet the bed on a nightly basis. The children have been to the doctor to address this issue but they are still needing pullups. Foster mom is getting frustrated with having to do laundry every day and feels pull ups will help greatly. The family and boys would be grateful to receive pull ups. This would be to help with the expense, laundry and to give these boys confidence hoping to help them wake up to go to the bathroom, stay dry and get a good nights sleep.

Hello, please help this father with transportation. This father is struggling to pay for bus fare due to his current lack of employment. Please help provide this family with a bus pass. He does his best to make it to every visit and appointment no matter what time, or how difficult it is for him to make it. This bus pass would help make sure he can make it to visitation, parenting classes, therapy sessions, drug tests, and doctors' appointments. Thank you so much for your generosity, and help in bringing this parent closer to reunification.

We are willing to take care of whatever remainder of this bill needs to be covered. Can someone clarify if there is still an amount needed, and what that specific amount is?
A new young woman is joining the Preparation for Adult Living program. She states, “so that I can have a stable living arrangement as I work to better myself and my condition. I hope to learn more skills relating to living alone and experiencing adult life, whether those be learned individually or as a group.” We are grateful to have her and look forward to working with her. She is excited about learning how to budget, get an education, and become independent. She wants to pursue an early education and music degree. She enjoys cooking and watching TV. As she enters into her new journey, she could use a helping hand with outfitting her new apartment with basic seasonings for the kitchen; such as, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, season salt; cutting board, set of cutting knifes, 3 quart pot with lid, 1.5 small quart pot, mop & mop bucket, broom with dust pan, a 5 x7 rug, 2 sets of bath towels, bedroom curtains 50’ width x 63’ long, kitchen curtain 50’ width x 63’ long, and living room curtain 50’ width x 63’ long. Your contribution will make an impact on making a home for our young adult and equipping her basic supplies to launch a successful future.

The 9 y/o is in a size 8 and the 6 y/o is in the size 5-6. The color of the tops recommended are red, white, or blue with khaki bottoms.

A tulsa county kinship family is in high need for assistance with their natural gas bill. Oklahoma Natural Gas has disconnected the family from their gas service, and the family has no additional funds to help pay for the outstanding bill. The family consists of a single mother, a son, and two foster children. Foster mom was unfortunately let go from her position at work due to unforseen circumstances, and has had difficulty securing a new position. She continues to be incredibly patient and flexible, and steps up to gain placement of additional relatives with no other place to go. The current outstanding balance is approximately $587. Any and all assistance in bringing this balance lower will be greatly appreciated and will help bring this family back to a sense of normalcy and well deserved comfort.

A mother and a father recently had a baby boy come into custody. They are involved in services and have already initiated drug testing and substance abuse treatment. They have a car, but cannot get it tagged due to fines from late toll payments. Until they can pay off the fines, they are without transportation. We are asking for a bus pass for each parent so they can get to their services and court hearings. This would provide a practical need and remove a barrier to working toward reunification. Thank you for all the wonderful help you provide!
