3 students being removed from home. A teacher is taking them in through DHS and needs a bed and mattress.

At our summer kids club we provide lunch for a diverse set of students, Tuesday - Thursday at Noon. Each Summer we ask churches, families, or individuals to come serve meals to our students. We typically have around 60 students enrolled. In some cases, there are left over food, and this will be used towards a day when no one is signed up to bring food. We would love for you to partner with us to serve these students that perhaps wouldn't have food during these days if it weren't for opportunities like these. We have started a sign-up genius to allow volunteers to sign up to serve meals.

In our program we provide a snack each day that our children come to our Summer Kid's Club. These children are in our care during many hours that they would be left unattended and many only eating once per day. We provide lunch and snack. We also bridge the learning gap that happens to many during the summer. Keeping their little bellies full helps to open their minds to instruction and care. We prefer a fruit or veggie along with something like gold fish or peanut butter crackers.

I am working with a biological mother of five children. Mom is compliant with services and recognizes she needs help achieving sobriety. Mom has agreed to go to medical detox followed by inpatient care. Mom has identified past due rent as a barrier that would postpone or potentially prevent her from going to detox and inpatient care. Mom's monthly rent is just below $200 a month and she is behind by three months. Mom is currently looking for employment in order to pay the past due balance but could prioritize her sobriety and postpone job seeking if there was no past due balance.

This family is struggling to pay a gas bill and is about to have their electricity shutoff. Client has 4 children. The family was not aware about the monthly bill they needed to be paid had increased, without any notification, until it was already past due so they need to clear off $952 of the bill otherwise the electricity will be shut for the home - of which they can cover $61.00. In the past, family has had no issues to pay their bills, they were not given enough notification from the company and hence the past due and late fees. They were paying $125 a month on a payment plan, so they were being charged regular bills without their knowledge. The family is hoping for this gas bill, which amounts to $860.87 that needs to be covered by May 16th, to be covered. The the family will be able to cover the future and rest of the expenses. Family is currently exploring other community resources. Both parents work and provide for family of six.

This family is currently struggling with the care of their medically fragile 2yo child. They will have a lot of frequent visits to medical providers. Both parents are actively trying to find jobs. They have no vehicle at this time and are looking for some help with getting around town. They have asked for help obtaining bus passes and possibly a couple of adult size bikes to get themselves to and from potential jobs/interviews.

We are working with a kinship foster home who has taken in their grandchildren. The family is nearly fully approved and is taking great care of the children. The family has struggled to adjust to increased expenses and is needing help with some bills in order to stay caught up until they receive financial assistance from OHS. We have been able to get some assistance with one bill and if someone could help with this bill it would get the family caught up. If you feel that you can assist with this need let me know and I would be happy to connect you with the family.

We have an older foster mom who just took in a teen girl. Foster mom works at a daycare and is starting the DHS process for home approval but has been living off credit cards to get the teen everything she needs. Foster mom needs a lot of assistance for this placement as it was very unexpected, and the teen girl came into the home with little to nothing. I have a 9 year old foster child that needs some additional summer clothes. Foster Mother is a single parent and has been able to get some items, but it has been difficult to keep up due to a recent growth spurt. We have a father of two children ages 2 and 4 years old. The father needs to participate in a parenting class as part of his treatment plan. Attending this class will help the father gain valuable information and skills to safely parent his children. By completing this parenting class, the father will be one huge step closer to reunifying with both children.

Hello! I have a 15 year old girl who just recently reunited with her bio mom. She has been through a few placements before getting back to bio mom and would love to have some things she has lost along the way! She is in need of tennis shoes size 8 in women's. She had weighted blankets she lost in a previous home and needs those as well. She would love some summer clothes/dresses, she wears size medium in shirts/dresses. She is petite and Caucasian. She likes make-up and likes to dye her hair temporary colors. She would be grateful for anything else that can be gifted or donated for a teenage 15 year old girl! Thank you!!
