WRAP Around - Errands

Resource Linkage is assisting a foster family who suffered storm damage and were able to get an estimate of the damage of a fallen tree. The family has two sisters placed with them at this time and this would help relieve some financial responsibility. Any help is greatly appreciated.

DCS is working with a single mother of 4 in Clarksville, who unfortunately had to quit her job due to her son's severe health issues. Her son is much better now but in the process of his recovery her vehicle broke down. A community partner is working with the family to get the vehicle repaired through Mechanics on a Mission but they do not cover the tow fee. The fee is $200, the ask is that we are able to get the vehicle towed today for the repairs to be made. Any help is greatly appreciated, restoring the vehicle back to running condition will allow the mother to return to work.

Due to circumstances, an Aunt is getting custody of her niece. The youth does not have clothes that fit her or any toys. Her birthday is coming up and the caregiver does not have enough funds to get the things she needs. The youth is currently wearing 4T clothes.

AGAPE is currently working with a pregnant mother, and she needs assistance getting her driver's license. This cost will go towards the mother's use of the driving center's car to take her driving test. Any assistance will greatly bless this young mother to be.

The mother (36 yrs) is requesting a door bell camera. The mother and daughter (11 yrs) were recently involved with an extreme domestic violence case. The family was able to move due to these concerns, but the mother is wanting a camera due to them being in a new neighborhood (doesn't feel safe) and in case the perpetrator is able to locate them.

I Am Next is a Middle TN based nonprofit that works with youth who have aged out of foster care. We have a young mom who aged out of the system who has been in our program for awhile. She is currently on a housing voucher at the apartment complex we own. She has a 1.5 year old little boy and pregnant with another little boy due in August. She is in need of some maternity clothes as she outgrows her normal clothes. She also has mentioned needing clothes for both boys: sizes 18 months and newborn. She also could use a heating pad. Thank you for supporting this young adult and her boys!

I Am Next works with youth who have aged out of foster care. We recently had a young adult move into our apartment complex, which are all studio apartments and about 200 square feet. She is needing a cube organizer storage unit that comes with several cubby bins for extra storage. She found one that is about $55 on Target's website if anyone would like to purchase this for her or if they had something similar to donate. Thank you so much!

The mother lost a job and got behind with her utility payment. She is currently working a new job but does not make enough money to pay the past due bill and keep up with the current bill. I have a copy of the client's bill. Once the past due bill is paid, the mother will be able to make all current payments.

I Am Next is a Middle TN based nonprofit that works with youth who have aged out of foster care. We have a young adult who is a mom to two littles--a 5 month old and a 1.5 year old. She is in desperate need of some items for these kids. The 5 month old was recently discharged from the hospital and is needing a specific formula for her stomach. The mom had a scare with possibly losing the children recently, so we are hoping that by providing her with these items for her children, it will help set her up to be more successful in taking care of them and keeping their family together.

Her 5 month old daughter needs size 1 diapers, Similar Neosure (has a yellow label) formula, and onesies size 0-3 months.

The 1.5 year old boy needs toddler cups, pull ups size 3/4T, and toddler/baby snacks.

The diapers and formula are a must have as soon as possible. Delivery to her apartment complex that she is located at is ideal. Thank you all so much for your support.

A mother and her boyfriend had their 5 children placed with a family member while they work services towards reunificaiton. The family is reporting they are in need of a washer and dryer. With 5 children and two adults, the laundry piles up and she has had to wash clothes in the bathtub. The family has worked hard on services and would appreciate any help!

A maternal aunt had 5 children placed in her care while the kids' parents work services for reunification. The aunt is very limited on space in her housing. She is needing two dressers and a shoe rack to store the kids' shoes. She was overwhelmed at first but as things are getting in order, she is less overwhelmed. She is very appreciative of the help!

Single dad with four boys has found a new home with the help of family but needs financial support for move in cost while he waits to be reimbursed from the hotel the family has been staying. The father has worked really hard to maintain lodging and employment while working toward staying in county, keeping the children from staying in their vehicle. The children are thriving in sports and in school and are ready to move into their new home. The new residence will accept a check for payment, funding from other agencies will be available on the back end. The father needs immediate funding to move in. Funding this need will give the children their new home they have been waiting for, they have been staying in hotels for several months. The father is trying his best to keep his family together. Any help is appreciated!
