Hello, I have a family I am working with that have a couple of small children that like to sneak out and escape from the home. The mother is often by herself and is in need of alarms and safety handles to avoid two of the children from leaving the home while she is cooking, taking care of the baby, etc. The family is in need of the sound alarms that stick to the door/windows. They will need a minimum of 2/pack. Also, the round knob door safety covers for 2 doors in their home. Thank you for your consideration.

Bio Mom has recently moved into her own place and has previously been homeless. She is in need of all household goods in order for her child to return home and for reunification to occur. Mom is happy to have her own place and this is a big step for her, but she needs lots of support and furnishings. This request would help to make her new place a suitable home and allow baby to possibly be reunited with her.

This request is being made in order to keep two boys with their biological Uncle as placement. Uncle is needing money for gas in order to travel back and forth to complete the licensure process in order to continue being placement for his nephews.

Hello, We are requesting 20.00 for a drug test for the mother in this case. We have to have a test completed by 4:30 pm today to keep the children in the home. We requested one earlier for the mother's boyfriend and the mother thought she could get one from her probation officer. That ended up not being the case and we are requesting the 20.00 for the mother now, as well. Thank you, Deb Walker

T1 Diabetic mother is in need of glucose sensors. Insurance will not cover this month. Mom is already sick and needs the meds urgently. Update to include a second needed prescription (insulin pods) worker just learned about

There is a single mother with three children in need of a stove and a refrigerator. She has a gas hookup for her stove but does not have her gas turned on, so she would need an electric stove along with the adaptor to make it work in a gas hook up. She is not currently working, but does have a job interview on the 19th of May.

There is a mother in need of a refrigerator and an electric dryer/ washing machine. The mother is not working currently because she stays home with her younger children. The mother lives with her father (the children's grandfather) and he does work. The mom stated they recently moved to a new residence that they are renting, and it did not come with these appliances.

Single, working parent of (2) very young boys. Parent states it has been a hard month with expenses. She gets paid on Friday, but ran out of money. The family is in immediate need of food. Parent stated her kids like any kind of food. Maybe they could get milk, cheese, bread, deli meat, chicken, rice, cold cereal. She also requested a gas card to get kids to school, daycare, and work. Any help would be greatly appreciate to tie the family over until Friday. Parent felt bad for asking for assistance. Thank you in advance.

There is an ICPC relative placement for 3 siblings ages 14,11 and 8. There are 2 girls and boy living with their grandmother in St.Joseph MO. This is the only relative placement option for all 3 siblings, and we would like to preserve this placement as everything else is going well. This family is urgently needing support with deep cleaning the house and bed bugs extermination before the walkthrough that will be performed by MO ICPC on May 14,2025. Grandmother has already applied first round of bed bug treatment; however, we would like to make sure that the infestation is removed completely. It would be easier for this family to maintain cleanliness if they receive support with deep cleaning. We would really appreciate all the help this family can receive before May 14.

The mother is needing to complete a drug screen to prevent a child from coming into care.

Single mom with one teenager. The mom had to have emergency surgery. She has full time employment and was up to date on paying her bills, until she had emergency surgery. Because of the surgery her doctor has requested that she does not work for up to 12 weeks. Her employment does not include any benefits or paid time off. She works for a cleaning company which requires her to be physically able to do her job, but the surgery has made it so she can not work for the time being.

She is requesting assistance for help on paying half of Mays rent and potentially all of Junes rent. Her rent is $850 a month, she has already paid for half of the rent of May. She is also requesting assistance to help pay their light bill. The light bill is $238 and was due on May 8th. Any assistance to help pay these bills would be very appreciated by the family!
