Relational Church

A grandmother living in Glenn Heights (Ellis County) with her three year old granddaughter was in an automobile accident during a rain storm that caused her to break two vertebrae in her spine and fracture her ribs. Her car was totaled, She is a CNA, but has been unable to work as she is recovering from her accident. She is in need of $300 to cover her utility payment. We are asking a church to be a blessing to her and see that her utility bill is paid.

I have a single father with three children (a 2-year-old boy and twin 7-month-old boys). He currently has no income. He needs to find a job as soon as possible. He has a potential job, but they are asking him to have an Orange Vest and Brown Shoes (size 13). He needs those items so he can get the job.

The family is about to get evicted from their home. The family fell behind on payments for rent due to placing their child in daycare. The family is in need of financial assistance in order to pay the rent and be caught up financially. Mother was not working, and the grandmother has been the primary provider for the family. The mother was recovering after her pregnancy, and the father is not in the picture. The mother is currently working on stabilizing herself with employment, so they won't be in this situation again.

A grandmother is caring for her grandchildren while her son is incarcerated. The parents’ absence has placed an emotional and financial strain on the household. I am requesting assistance for a family facing financial hardship and is behind on her electric bill. Providing support for this urgent need would help relieve some of the burden they are carrying and allow them to focus on caring for the children. Any assistance you can provide toward covering this utility bill would be a tremendous blessing and a critical step in helping this family remain safe, warm, and connected during this difficult season

I have a family who is dealing with a lot of needs with the Mother of the adopted children, adult sibling being the only caregiver having to care for her Mom with severe medical issues including her not being coherent and having mental and vision difficulties, her Autistic son with very angry outbursts, younger sibling who was adopted and has behavioral issues from trauma before she was adopted, and her own medical needs and dealing with a cyst she has. This Adult sibling is trying her hardest to get to all appointments in caring for her family, but it has put a burden on her working, and she hasn't been able to work in the past 4 weeks. Every time the adult sibling tries to leave for work, she is called back to the home to assist in some kind of matter. So, I am requesting for a grocery card to help this family until hopefully she can reapply for food stamps and also a punching bag to help the Autistic Son with his angry outbursts as he likes to punch things when he is angry.

A single mother with five children is in need of a twin size bed frame (with boxspring/or frame that includes box spring) and the mother is in need of a queen size box spring for herself. The mother is grateful for used or new.

I've met several times with a single mom of five kids. She is trying to complete her GED and is enrolled in free GED prep courses. Her goal is to get a degree in psychology and work with the elderly population especially those in nursing home care. She is actively looking for employment and working with a temp agency. She's also participating in other services at our center. She wants to improve her life for her kids and for herself!

The children are needing twin bunk beds that they can comfortably sleep in with some mattresses provided as well. The mother moved from one location because she had become homeless and moved with what she had.

The family has relocated back to Dallas County to their home. They have been able to obtain a bed for their oldest child but is in need of two toddler beds for their youngest children. Mom just started working but in the process of getting established in her role and assisting with household necessities. The family has experienced a lot over the past 9 months, and a little assistance will really help alleviate some of the families' financial stressors.

We are reaching out on behalf of a courageous mother who is taking meaningful steps toward reuniting with her one-year-old baby. This young woman has endured profound challenges, including separation from her child—yet through it all, she has shown determination, humility, and strength. She has committed herself fully to the hard work of healing, learning, and building a safe, loving environment for her child’s return.

In the process of rebuilding, she has placed her child’s needs far above her own. She attends parenting classes, counseling, and supervised visits with tenderness and intention. Her focus has been on becoming the mother her baby deserves—and now, as reunification draws near, she is working to reclaim her sense of dignity and confidence.

This mom is in urgent need of clothing, undergarments, and personal hygiene items—especially items that support and reflect her ethnic background and personal identity. These basics are not just about comfort; they are about helping her show up fully for her child, and for herself, with the self-respect and strength she’s been fighting to rebuild.
