We have a momma living in Dawsonville who is getting closer to reunification with her children! She has made many improvements to her home, but needs new bedding for her children's room so we can begin overnight visits soon. Her oldest has a full-sized bed and loves all things Star Wars. His favorite color is blue. Her youngest has a twin sized bed and also love Star Wars (and Legos) and his favorite color is green. They are need of sheets, comforter and pillow case for each bed. We would appreciate any help this mom can get. She is a working, single-income mother, so any help she can get is greatly appreciated by her and by us!

Clay County Children's Division frequently works with families who do not have transportation, but they need to get their children to the hospital, to forensic interviews, or to other vital appointments. These appointments are often unplanned and urgent. We are requesting 5 $50 Uber cards to have available when these unexpected needs arise.

We would like assistance with a single mother who has three children, 11. 8 and 5 years old. She has been the victim of a fire in her last residence, which has lett her with pretty much nothing. She is working, and is residing currently in Waxahachie Housing Aurhority. She needs one complete twin bed for one of her daughers, and a full box spring for her son. She really would love a church to walk alongside her. She needs love and support right now, as she tries to get her life together for her and her children. If you can help, you would be making a huge difference in this mother's life.

The family just had a newborn and is needing a bed, parents are currently sleeping on air mattress.

My kin caregiver is currently caring for her (2) 19-year-old great nephews who arrived separately in 2006 and 2019. She has since adopted her great nephew who arrived as a 6-month-old infant in 2006 and currently cares for her great nephew who was placed with her at 14 years old in 2019. The great aunt lives on a fixed income and serves as the sole provider to her household of three. Recently, a large split began forming on the family’s dining room table from wear-and-tear and the table has started to wabble. As a result, the table no longer provides a safe, stable place for her nephews to eat their meals. Additionally, an ergonomic, adjustable computer chair is needed for her great nephews’ bedroom, as their current computer chair has incurred significant wear-and-tear. Due to her limited resources, along with recent economic hardships, replacing these items poses a significant challenge for my kin caregiver. Assisting her with a dining table (approximately 56.25” length x 36” width x 36” height) and an ergonomic, adjustable computer chair would not only ensure that her great nephews have a comfortable place to enjoy their meals and entertain themselves in their downtime, but would also enable them to bond with one another.

Single mother of 2 young children with a baby due in June. She was homeless but was able to move into housing and keep her children with her. She is in need of 2 car seats for her kids, currently she is unable to drive because she cannot afford car seats. She is a great mom that has worked hard to give her kids a new life but now she needs to make sure she is able to transport them safely. Here are the links to the type of car seat she is needing. These kids have experienced a hard life, and we would love to see them thrive and feel safe and this is a great start to aid in supporting them. Mother is asking for a toddler bed for her toddler child. To ensure safety sleep.

A mother of a 6 yr old girl, who is placed with kin in Colorado Springs, is expected to be released from jail in Georgia on 5/10/2025 and will be returning to Colorado Springs on 5/12/2025. She has a bed reserved in Sober Living so she will have a safe place to stay. Due to having no job, she does not yet have the means to pay for her first month. A visa gift card in the amount of $450 would assist her to ensure the first month is paid as she begins her journey towards sobriety and ultimately, reunification with her daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and non-verbal. This request being met would be a huge blessing in this young mom's life. Thank you so much for considering!

Two children ages 9 and 11 were placed in the care of their cousin. Their cousin also has a 15 year old child of their own. The family recently moved into a new home and are struggling financially so, they are not able to purchase groceries for the household. The family is requesting help with any of the items listed above or a gift card to Walmart or King Soopers to help purchase groceries. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Hello, I have a mother on my caseload that just passed her 1 year sober milestone! She is employed for the first time in many years and is looking at getting her own apartment after living in sober living. she has some applications in at different apartment communities and is close on one but will need $500 to help with the first payment to get the keys. She is working and taking some college courses online and is confident that she will be able to make the payments moving forward. Any help towards this would be greatly appreciated!
