A growing family had to part with a significant number of belongings and replace several items to ensure the safety of her children. This process has highlighted the importance of creating a secure environment for them. As a result, they are diligently working to rebuild their home from the ground up, motivated by the difficult lessons they learned along the way. They are in urgent need of twin bedding sets for 2 girls (Preferred colors are light green and pink). They also need a toddler bed frame, ideally white, with toddler bedding set. Mattress protectors for a crib and for 2 twin beds are also needed. They would also welcome clothes for their girls, sizes 24 months, 2T and 4T. The family is motivated to succeed and would really appreciate your help to get back on their feet. Thank you!

Foster mom has anywhere between 3 and 5 teenagers in her home at any given time. She works will all of her placements on independent living skills to include helping them get jobs and extra curriculars. Currently she has a 13 year old and 16 year old girl that would really benefit from bikes. The 16 year old is currently walking about a mile each way for work and a bike would significantly help in maintain this job. Additionally, the 16 year old helps watch the 13 year old over school breaks so a bike for each girl would be used during this time. Their foster mom has paid for them to have a gym membership that is within biking distance but she is not always available to transport them. Thank you!

Youth is working on their independent living skills and is needing a bike so that he can get to and from his summer job. This bike would also improve this child's life by providing transportation to the gym while his kinship providers are at work.

Family is in need of help in the form of a grocery store gift card who is in great need and well deserving! Here is their story: A cousin has been caring for 3 kids on our case, ages 8, 9, and 16. This cousin is also very young, but she has been doing an amazing job caring for these kids for quite some time now. She makes sure they attend school and also monitors the 16-year old's newly diagnosed diabetes. The last few months have been very stressful and difficult, and any help would be greatly appreciated by the family.

A single mother with 3 children will give birth to her 4th child in two weeks. This young woman has very little relational support in her life at this time and no family. Because her youngest child is well out of his baby years, this mama does not have many baby supplies and is still in need of a travel system. Having this larger cost item covered would allow her to transport the baby safely to appointments and outings, as well as allow her sparse income to go towards essentials like rent and groceries, ensuring she doesn't have to choose between feeding or housing her family. This client is moving into a Warren village and needs assistance with furniture and bedding. The parent is currently unemployed any help with any furniture new or used would greatly be appreciated by this family. They are in need of the following items: King size Box Spring, bedding for King size and girl bedding for a toddler bed, 2 dressers, dining room table for 4, couch, and window curtain. a newborn baby girl is in need of a crib, newborn diapers, and infamil neuro pro formula (yellow can). the baby was placed in a kinship home with her half brother and was born just last week.

This family consists of a single mom, living with her two daughters, one who is an adult and one who is a minor. This family has struggled with homelessness after leaving a domestic violence situation and is currently in stable housing. The mother is still struggling with her mental health after surviving the domestic violence and is unable to work at this time. The request of the family is for a washer and dryer, as their apartment has hookups, but no machines. This would greatly assist the family in saving money that would be used for getting to and utilizing a laundromat which is currently very frequent with two teenage girls. The time and money saved would be utilized for more pressing financial pressures that family is experiencing. If the expense is too high for both a washer and dryer, a washer would be preference.

The Department is working with a family with a 1-year-old boy. They are currently in need of size 4 diapers and unscented baby wipes. The father recently switched jobs and the mother recently lost her job after missing work for mental health reasons. She is currently interviewing for new jobs. They are struggling with this expense as a result. The mother has completed her treatment and the father is in compliance with every aspect of his treatment plan, fully unsupervised with their baby, and nearing case closure. Assistance with this need so that the family can keep their child in home as they work towards case closure is greatly appreciated!

Kinship provider is maternal grandmother. They are moving into a new home and she needs help with a rug and a dresser for her grandson. He is three years old.
