Robertson County family with 5 children and 1 on the way are in need of a bunk bed and 2 twin mattresses. Meeting this request will positively impact the family by creating individual sleep space for the children.
Paternal aunt is trying to continue being a placement for her two nieces. The aunt just moved to a bigger place to have more room for everyone and is needing a twin bed frame for her 9-year-old niece. Aunt doesn't have the financial funds as she just had a baby 2 weeks ago and is not working at the moment. Help will also be needed to set up the bed if possible.
Child is in need of cloths for school. The child is constantly getting in trouble due to being bullied about his clothes. The child just came into placement and his currently clothes/shoes from his previous placement is entirely too small.
M & J are resilient 5 & 9 year old brothers who have recently been placed with their great aunt & uncle, along with their older sister and baby brother. They were placed due to drug use and domestic violence in their parents' home. The family recenlty experience the death of their grandmother, who was a stabilizing force and caregiver when their parents were not able/willing. The children have been through a lot and their aunt/uncle have stepped in quickly, with little time to prepare for the 4 children. They are using every resource they can to care for these children and are planning for the long term, due to the ongoing issues that the parents have had for years.
The boys will need separate beds to sleep in, as the family works with an agency to become licensed foster/adoptive parents. They currently share a bed and this will prevent licensing. The family is in need of twin beds at this time. They are VERY appreciative of any assistance received. This is a wonderful Christian family who is working hard to love on and help these children heal.
This family needs bedroom furniture and bedding for the little girls room before she gets to come home. She will be sharing a room with her sister, so bunk beds would be the best. They already have 1 mattress and will only need 1 more. She will also need a dresser.
A foster parent is in need of a gift card to purchase some doors and a clothes organizer that will turn her formal dinning room into a bedroom. With these items being purchased this will allow for the foster parent to keep the child that she has in care permanently and allow for his sibling to come to the residence and stay permanently as well. With this help the siblings will be adopted by the foster placement and be able to grow up in a home together. The Caregiver would like a Visa gift card so that she can purchase the doors from a home improvement store and the clothing organizer from online. The sibling are not able to be placed together until the modifications to the home are made. Help to get and keep these siblings together is greatly appreciated. Updated on September 07, 2023 by an Agency Worker Foster parent is still in need of financial assistance or handyman services to install doors. The gift card does not need to value $500 but $250 instead.
Thank you for the support.
A teenager who has reunified with her mother for the second time would benefit from gaining coping skills and self-defense. If this need is met, it will strengthen the bond within the family and provide confidence to our teen who will be leaving care.
Pregnant mother (35 weeks) needs assistance with the following home repairs.
Cleaning services, painting walls, carpet removal, trash removal, removal of old refrigerator, new washer and dryer, new electric stove. This request will help mitigate the concerns for the unborn child and potentially prevent future CPS involvement for that child and also help the mothers other two children return home.
Single mother of 3 children ages 4 months, 1, and 3. Mother needs help with groceries. Mother could also use two toddler beds for the two older children.
Single mother and child lives in a older home. The home needs to be bombed due to infestation from other properties. The mother could also use help with groceries for herself and her child. Mother could also use a better mattress and a lawn mower to keep the grass cut.
