Story
Through the Angel Tree Ministry of Prison Fellowship, we connected with an 8-year-old girl who needs assistance to avoid homelessness this Christmas season.
Her father is currently in prison, and she has been living with a family member who has provided her with a stable and loving home. However, they are now facing a heartbreaking crisis. The family member is at risk of eviction due to overdue rent, totaling $2,600, and this eviction could take effect as early as today. Without immediate assistance, this family will have no choice but to move into a shelter, a deeply distressing outcome for a young child already navigating so much.
We are reaching out to help keep this little girl and her caregiver in their home. Covering at least one month of rent would provide the stability they need while they work towards a longer-term solution.
