The children are being placed with maternal cousin/NFREM as emergency placement (3/7/2025). The maternal cousin will be giving up her beds to the children so they can have a bed until toddler beds/bunk beds are secured for the children.

The home is also not yet RFA approved. The children need clothes.

The children were removed from the mother’s care due to neglect. The mother’s home environment was not safe and described as “being in deplorable conditions.” The children always had dirty clothes on and mother was not meeting their overall needs (education and medical). The 3 children have a total of 2 other siblings who will be placed with a different relative.

The request is for toddler beds and gift card from target ($200).

Mother has 8 children in the home with one of the children having a child of her own. They recently moved into a new home and are struggling to find enough bedding for the family. Mother has asked for 3 twin beds, with box springs, and any frames, bedding, associated with the beds. Not all the children have beds.

Resource Parent has recently been evicted from her home and is now in need of furniture and household items for her and her two dependents. The items she requires include four dressers, two full mattresses, one twin mattress, one queen mattress, a dining table with chairs, and bed frames for each bed. Additionally, she needs kitchen items such as pots, pans, utensils, spatulas, and plates.

This sudden move has created an urgent need for these items to ensure the safety and comfort of the children, as well as to meet the requirements for her Resource Family Approval (RFA) license. The ultimate goal is to provide a stable living arrangement for the children and avoid the risk of them having to move due to her home not meeting licensing standards.

A mother recently lost her job and is struggling with transportation. She has done well with doing her services and has recently gotten unsupervised family time with her four children. She is in need of a bus pass in order to continue to get to her mental health services and see her children. Please let us know if you can help as she is trying her hardest to get her children back.

The following message is regarding one of our students, Who is currently facing a vision challenge that is significantly affecting his ability to succeed in school. the student has been struggling with his vision.

The family has an upcoming appointment scheduled at the Vision Center of Victor Valley on Saturday, April 5, 2025, but they are in need of financial assistance to cover the cost of the glasses. The estimated amount is approximately $200, which is more than the family can afford at this time.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.

Hello, I am wondering if you can donate a food gift card to our family of 5. Yes we do go to local food banks frequently however my wife just recently went through a very traumatic pregnancy and our son arrived 6 weeks early and spent 5 in the NICU and we were driving 40 miles to and from the hospital. We have a foster family of 7 with a baby due on May 3rd who is in need of help deep cleaning their home. They have a house full of teenage boys who do a good job on chores BUT they are teenage boys after all... These parents would love if an individual or group would be interested in doing a super deep clean so they can have a healthy, clean home for their baby's arrival. The weekend of April 26-27th would be ideal.

We want to take a moment to celebrate the growth of Sherry, Cameron, Kaya, and Kennedy over the past 8 months, made possible by your generous support. Cameron was juggling two part-time jobs and feeling uncertain about his future. He secured a full-time job at an extermination company and gained confidence and developed new skills. Kaya was a college freshman working at a sandwich shop. Since then, she started a new job at the YMCA in after-school childcare that has brought her joy in student teaching and she bought a car. Kennedy was a high school junior working at a sandwich shop; she has enjoyed school events like homecoming and winter formal. Staying in their home this last year allowed her to complete her childhood there and graduate high school. Sherry was facing financial stress, managing transportation for the kids with only one car. Over the last several months, she took a temporary job but as of recent she now offers in home care to another senior for a few days a week. Most importantly, thanks to you, she has had the time to guide and prepare her grandkids for their next big step in life. Their next big step has arrived, their home of 13 years is being sold, and they must move out by June 31st. We are seeking families or a senior with a spare bedroom(s) who can help them stay in the community. If you know of any housing opportunities for Sherry or the kids, please reach out.
