Family of 4. Dad is on worker's compensation, mom is a full time student. Seeking help with college costs for my teenage daughter. Daughter needs two software programs for successful completion of her first year of college. Family is on a fixed income and has been unable to purchase the software.

I have a mom and daughter on my tree who needs a kitchen table and high chair. Mom is a full time student and is not able to purchase these things on her own. The baby is 9 months old and sweet as can be. Father is not much help and works at GM. This mom is proactive in elevating her education to provide a better life for her daughter. I think providing a high chair and a small kitchen table with four chairs will encourage mom to continue with her education and be seen and heard.

I have a single mother looking for help getting some beds for her children. Her older three children are currently sharing a large couch as their sleep area. Mother is a full time student and trying to work at the same time to provide for her family. Mom would like some assistance getting 3 mattresses so the children will have their own bed to sleep in. Ages of the children are 6,8, and 10. The home is very small so a twin size or smaller mattress would be preferred. Thank you! Also in the home are the maternal grandparents who help care for and support the children.

Family of 6 has been struggling due to loss of permanent housing, they lived in a hotel for almost a year. They just recently secured an apartment and a place to finally call home. Family needs bed frames for their mattress, sofa and a microwave. The parent feels this need being met will bring a feeling of safety and normalcy which will impact the school age child positively both emotionally and academically.

A single mother of a 16-year-old girl is facing a difficult financial challenge and urgently needs assistance with her electric bill. Her car broke down, and with the registration and tags expired, she found herself in a tough spot. Having just started a new job about 30 miles away, she couldn't afford the repairs or fees to update her registration, but she didn't want to risk losing the job she'd secured. Unfortunately, during her commute, she recieved tickets and had no choice but to stop driving to work. The money she had, along with child support, was used to pay off those fines, leaving her with nothing to cover her utility bills. As a result, her water was turned off, and her electricity is now at risk of being disconnected. Her daughter has been staying with her grandparents to maintain basic sanitation for school. This mother has managed to get enough money to get her water turned back on, but she is still unable to pay the electric bill. Your support can make a world of difference -- helping her keep the lights on would not only prevent the disconnection of her electricity but would allow her daughter to come back home. Together, we can help reunite this family and give them the stability they need to move forward.

A mother in San Francisco has recently begun her trial reunification with her three boys. She has worked really hard to get her boys back, but has very low income. Our hope is that with some tangible support, to ease some of the financial burdens, this reunification will be successful and they can begin to move forward from their time apart.

All three boys love the colors red, white, and black. Gently used items in good condition are welcomed.

A family recently arrived from Africa fleeing their war-torn community. Dad, mom (who was pregnant with twins), and 3 children (ages 11, 9 and 6) travelled 2,500 miles, a good portion of it on foot, praying that they would be able to stay together and would be safe. The family was given refugee status and brought to America. They are in an apartment and do not know the language yet. Dad and mom are trying to set up a new home with their 5 children and have received assistance from His Helping Hands for furniture.

A Pathway member has met some of their other needs as she walks with them and one of their twins who has special needs.

Their current, most immediate needs are for a double stroller for the twins and preemie diapers. Thank you for supporting this family.

A mother who recently left an abusive marriage is needing help with moving from a house to a two-bedroom apartment where she and her 11-year-old son will be starting their new life. She needs help moving on Saturday, April 12. She has already rented the U-Haul and really needs help with the muscle! Everything is on the ground level and there are no appliances needing to be moved. The bigger items being moved will be 2 couches, end tables, TV stand, TV, mattresses, dining room table and boxes. The move will start on Saturday at 10:00 am. Our mother and son attend Westlink campus.

Can we have 6 people come along side this single mother to help her with her move? If you can help, please 'provide' assistance. We'll then reach out to get you connected with the family.

A mom has recently, courageously, left an abusive marriage with her 10 year old son. She has secured employment and has found a small apartment to start over. Mom and her son had to leave everything behind so are starting over to furnish their new home. She already has beds and a dresser, and someone has helped provide needed items for her bathroom.

This family still needs a couch, small kitchen table with 2 chairs, broom with dustpan, Swiffer wet mop, small vacuum for laminate flooring, pizza cutter and other kitchen utensils, dish drainer, spices, a coffee table and small bookshelf.

Mom is walking with a friend and Pathway member back to a healthy environment for her and her son.
