Story
This family had just experienced the loss of their home and all of their belongings due to a house fire. Some of the family's pets were also lost in the fire - one of them being an emotional support animal for their autistic son. This family has been experiencing a range of emotions from feelings of grief and overwhelm to gratitude and hope as the community has begun to wrap around them. Although they've received some assistance already, they are still in need of several items. They understand that not everything can be provided, but they are extremely appreciative of any and all help offered to them. The following things are needed:
- Help finding a local in-person grief counselor - Non-perishable food items - Cat tree & cat toys - Clothes (The family would appreciate the opportunity to go shopping to find clothes that fit them, and meet their employers dress-code requirements) - Coins for laundromat - Clothes hampers - Cleaning supplies to salvage some of their belongings from the fire (disposable suits, gloves, masks, boots, trash bags, etc) - They would also appreciate volunteers to help them go through/clean their home - Gas assistance - Drawing/art Supplies for their son
