Please help a mother who works fulltime and cares for her child who has a chronic illness. The mother recently had to miss several days of work due to being in the hospital with her child, as a result the mother has fallen behind on her bills. The family's electric was turned off on 5-16. We would like to help assist the family with getting their power back on. Anything helps! Thank you.

An Aunt and Uncle are in the process of adopting two girls. They have been doing everything they can to make sure that the girls are comfortable in the home. With summer approaching the Aunt and Uncle are requesting assistance in obtaining bicycles and helmets for the girls. They are unable financially to supply the girls with bicycles. The bicycles will help give the girls something they can call theirs and give them something they can do together for the summer. The bicycles will help strengthen this adoptive family. The bicycles should be 20" girls' bike with helmet and 26" girls' bike with helmet.

Please help a grandmother who has taken in three of her grandchildren. The grandmother is doing an excellent job caring for the littles. She has enrolled the children in counseling and has provided transportation to counseling appointments and back and forth from school. We would like to alleviate some of the grandmother's financial burden by providing her with a gas card. Thank you.

A 3 month old baby who has recently been separated from his parents is in need of basic necessities to include diapers and wipes. He is in need of diapers size 2.

A youth was previously placed in shelter care and recently moved with her brother. She was sleeping on an air mattress but has now moved into a new home with her own bedroom. The child would like to have her own bed.

A mother is no longer able to take her medication since she cannot afford and no longer able to pay her bills and work. She is taking the steps to get her medication started back up for physical and mental state. Since she is not able to work due to having her disability she is not able to afford her rent. She has an eviction notice and needing to get her rent paid in the next 3 days. She currently has 3 children living in the house, an eight year old, 13 year old, and a 17 year old. She is a single mother and is never late with paying her rent. She could use all the help that she could get in order to prevent homelessness for her family.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
