This request is part of the Bundles of Hope initiative. Catholic Legal Services is working closely with a caregiver who is doing their best to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their little one but require assistance meeting certain needs. This family is caring for a child under the age of 2 and the child is in need of size 2 diapers and wipes.

Two parents and three young children moved into their grandparents' home which is very cluttered and stuffed full of generational belongings. Due to the cramped quarters and mass number of items that need to be gotten rid of, the children have limited space to sleep and be active adolescents. By obtaining a dumpster, this would assist the family with quick removal of these unnecessary items, and give the family a cleaner, more comfortable, and healthier environment to live. A 7-day rental for a 10-yard dumpster from Twin Bridges is $475 after taxes and fees. This request is being split up into 2, one for $225 and another for $250.

We have a single father who was not expecting (was not aware of pregnancy) who just got sole placement of his newborn daughter. He does not have much in the way of supplies, but mostly needs formula as he was denied for WIC (makes too much for WIC standards). The newborn is on Similac Total Care 360. Any other donations for clothing and baby items would be welcomed also if you feel led. She was just born in April so only about 2 months old. 3 month to 6 month clothing would be fine. A grandmother caring for her three grandchildren, aged 3, 2, and 1, requires installation of two new windows in her residence, as the current windows are non-operational and pose safety concerns in the event of fire or emergency. Thank you for your assistance.

Single mother of 2 boys ages 15 and 3 in need of rental assistance. Any amount contributed will greatly help this family. 1100 is needed in total for partial rent for May and June. Mother just started a new job and paid to have a window in her vehicle fixed and due to this unexpected cost she has fallen behind in rent. Mother is working full time and can maintain future payment but is unable to catch up and maintain the basic needs of her family.

A mother is no longer able to take her medication since she cannot afford and no longer able to pay her bills and work. She is taking the steps to get her medication started back up for physical and mental state. Since she is not able to work due to having her disability she is not able to afford her rent. She has an eviction notice and needing to get her rent paid in the next 3 days. She currently has 3 children living in the house, an eight year old, 13 year old, and a 17 year old. She is a single mother and is never late with paying her rent. She could use all the help that she could get in order to prevent homelessness for her family.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
