Story
The household consists of one adult, three children (M 10, F 11 and M 7) in need of a washing machine. The caregiver has two jobs, and works an average of 47 hours a week and struggles to afford weekly trips to the laundromat. Only being able to wash small batches of clothes at a time. This has resulted in a pile up of unclean clothes in the house, which has started to produce an odor. Without an in-home washing machine, the family must make frequent trips to the laundromat, which is both costly and time-consuming. The burden of carrying heavy loads of clothes, often late in the evening after work and school, has made their daily routine even more challenging.
A washing machine would be life-changing for this family. It would save them time, reduce their financial strain, and ensure that the children always have clean clothes for school and activities. More importantly, it would provide them with a sense of stability and comfort in theri home.
