A teen girl is the oldest of 8 siblings. Her mother got admitted to a substance residential treatment 6 months ago, and is currently there. The teen is with her maternal grandmother. The grandmother is doing her best providing for the children she has in her custody, however, not enough to purchase a laptop for the teen girl. She is 17 years old, and failing in her academics. She only has 2 high school credits as an incoming senior. For months now, she stopped going to school, and is facing discharge from Broward County School Board. As of last month, there has been a shift in her behavior, thanks to The Education attorney, assigned to the case. They have assisted her in getting a job a Publix, and started working on her GED. The teen has completed Math, Reading, and science GED Prep test on the attorney's computer, however, she will need her own laptop for the course. The teen has proven herself to wanting to get serious about her future. She realized that she will not get a high school diploma due to lack of credits, and getting her GED while the case is open is her last chance to succeed before she turns 18. Assistance with a laptop will change the trajectory of this teens life and confidence.

We have a disabled mom, her partner and their 3 children (17,15,4) that are facing a temporary financial setback. Their monthly income consists of disability benefits for mom and her partner's employment, but due to their only vehicle breaking down and the cost of repairs that has exceeded their budget, they are now short on rent. Unfortunately, the landlord will not help them and has given them a 3 day eviction notice. They only have a portion of their rent and are in need of an additional $817. THey have 2 days left to come up with the funds. Please pray for this family and if you can assist in any way please let me know.

The dad kicked in the front and side door and mom is seeking the door be repaired and locks be replaced. The youngest girl has a birthday soon and mom would like help getting her a birthday gift.

A devoted great-grandmother is caring for her 6-year-old great-grandson with unconditional love and resilience. Despite limited resources, she has opened her heart and home to provide the stability and care he deserves. Now, she needs help giving him a few of life’s basic comforts.

She is seeking a twin-size bed to ensure he has a safe, warm place to sleep—somewhere he can dream freely and rest well. Additionally, the child is in need of clothing for sizes 8–10, appropriate for his age and growing body. Unfortunately, the exact sizing—especially in shoes—is unknown, so a gift card to a store that allows for in-person shopping and fitting would make a world of difference.

15 year old male youth needs a bed and mattress and sheets. The youth is reuniting with his older sister and the sister is needing assistance with a bed mattress and sheets. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. You can reach out to myself as I have found some items on Amazon.

A family of 5 is in need of a bed for their oldest son. He is in high school and is need of a full-sized bed. The family has suffered a few set backs and are working hard to get back on their feet. Having a bed will greatly improve the quality of life for this teenage boy. Please consider helping with this need.

One of our favorite Wooddale Staff is needing to move to California for family reasons and needs our Helping Hands at her home, preferably the week of July 21 and all work completed by July 27. The following needs to be addressed are listed:

1.) there is a decent sized hole in the drywall that needs filling (from my mom’s oxygen tank)

2.) help with weeding planter beds and trimming shrubs

There is an individual within the church that coaches underprivileged children that is in need of athletic gear / shoes / cleats for a few of the children in order for them to remain active in sports this summer and throughout the upcoming school year.. mainly he is in need of basketball shoes any sizes and size 12.5 men's cleats and tennis/ basketball shoes. If u have any kids or adult shoes for males new or used in good condition that u would like to donate please please reach out these kids are desperately needing these to continue with the well-being of their athletic abilities not to mention being active in sports helps with the mental well being of our children in today's society
