This family is in desperate need of assistance for an exterminator, as there is an infestation of bed bugs in the bedroom. The family, two grandparents and two children (5 years old and an older sibling), are currently under facing a financial hardship due to the grandmother recently going through a serious surgery. The grandfather is physically limited and is unable to work. Due to that, they are unable to gather the entire funds to obtain an exterminator to solve the bed bug issue. We are asking for money to put forth for an exterminator. All donations are welcomed.

The caregivers are caregiver for a non-relative. They consider her to be their niece. In their home they have a bathroom, that they would like to dedicate solely to her. Currently the shower knob is broken. The caregivers purchased a new knob/handle, but have not been able to install it. The caregivers also have a smoke detector that they need hardwired. The caregivers are seeking assistance in having someone handy in assisting with these two small tasks. They have the parts needed for the job.

A single mother of two children, who solely depend on her for care, is in need of assistance with car repairs. She recently took her car to a mechanic, but unfortunately, the work left the vehicle in worse condition. She has now found a new auto service and received a quote for the necessary repairs. Her vehicle is her primary means of transportation for herself and her children, and without it, it is incredibly difficult for her to manage daily responsibilities.

Recently, we’ve noticed something—many of our chairs are broken. And while we believe in second chances, some of these chairs have reached the end of their journey.

We want to replace them with sturdy wooden chairs that will not only provide a safe and comfortable place to sit but also reflect the dignity and strength of those we serve. Our goal is to find matching chairs for our two large tables, each seating eight people—creating a warm, welcoming space for those deep, restorative conversations to continue.

Hi, I have a client who's expecting her first child due May 10, 2025. Her and her partner are very excited for their baby but are facing a lot of financial difficulties. Her partner was without employment for quite a long period of time but has just recently got a job! Since this is their first baby they have a lot of items yet to be purchased and are working with quite a small budget. They're requesting help with an infant car seat and stroller combo. This would allow them to bring baby home safely from the hospital as well as have the ability to get around by foot or bus. They would be more than grateful for any type of help offered to them. Recently, this mother made the courageous decision to leave a long-term, mentally abusive marriage to seek a better environment and home for her 11-year-old son and herself. She has also started taking college classes to get her degree to provide future support. She is participating in Pathway's DivorceCare where she is building supportive relationships as she starts this new journey with her son. She is moving into her own apartment and is needing some essential items. Their favorite color is any color of blue. Her son is also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Her bedroom set is the queen size and his is the full size.

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.
