Our school has a family that is moving into a new place after a change in their living situation that is no fault of the mom or the children. Mom is working hard to make things work but they do not have anything left from her paycheck after paying her car payment and the deposit/rent. They are in need of living room furniture and a twin size bunk bed frame (mattresses not needed). Thank you in advance for your consideration!

17 year old male student was severely assaulted, so now student and family are in immediate danger. Mom has city program voucher and is actively looking to relocate. Mom needs financial assistance for moving costs and or rental assistance. Mom is looking to move within the week or as soon as possible. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to make sure that this family is in a safe place.

There is a family that speaks Chuukese that is facing a possible eviction. The mother is disabled due to losing her lower limbs because of Diabetes. The father has been in and out of work, and the family is over $2,000 behind on rent. The landlord has asked them to leave or else he will go through the legal process of evicting them. Their son is going to stay at the Noyes Home while dad tries to find stable work and housing. I am requesting a three-month (which is the target discharge date for their son for his stay at the Noyes Home) bus pass for dad, while he looks for work, so he has a way to get around to job interviews and to work once he finds a job.

Our client is new to Canada and came here because she had to flee from an abusive relationship in her home Country in Africa. She is alone and pregnant. She is due to have a C-section for sure by April 14th if not sooner. She is in need of a car seat/stroller combo to be able to bring baby home from hospital. And also because public transit is her only option for getting around, the stroller is needed as well. She is so lovely and will be so grateful for any help.

After experiencing long-term homelessness and instability, this resilient single mom of two teen age girls, is finally on the path towards rebuilding their lives. Mom's determination has gained her steady employment and have recently been able to move into an apartment they now call home. Bit by bit, they've been working hard to gather the essential household items, creating a safe and stable space for themselves and their children.

While they've made great progress, they are still in need of some basic furniture to help bring comfort and functionality to their home. Currently, they do not have dressers, making it difficult to keep their clothes organized. A couch for their living area is also needed. A simple, yet meaningful addition that would allow the family a place to relax and rest after long days of work and school.

This family has overcome significant challenges with strength and perseverance. Your support will help complete their home and practical needs, yet also reinforce their sense of stability, dignity and hope.

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.
