Story
This request is for a family of four, two adults and a 14 and 17 year old. The 14 year old female has significant mental health disorders and recently broke a window in the 17 year old's bedroom. The 14 year old has been in psychiatric care and will be ready to discharge on Thursday 03/27/25, however the facility and Children's Division are not allowing the child to discharge home until the window is fixed. The 17 year old is still living in the home with a broken window and the 14 year old cannot return home until it is fixed. The mother reports it is a small bedroom window, but exact dimensions are unknown. There is still some glass in the window but it has sharp edges and broken pieces which need repair. The mother and father are working to pay for psychiatric care and therefore unable to pay a repair company to fix the window. They have reached out to several family members and community agencies, such as Swope and Operation Breakthrough who do not have resources to help them.
