We have a 4th grade boy (age 9) in our school district who is in need of clothes and shoes. The child's mother has struggled to find consistent work, and they are currently living with the child's grandmother. The child is wearing clothes that were purchased last school year that are too small for him. He is also in need of hygiene items. The family is struggling and would greatly appreciate any assistance for the child in the home. We are requesting shirts (size Youth X-Large), pants (size 14 Boys), shoes (size 6), and hygiene items.

This family consists of a mom and her two children. The family is currently residing in a home not suitable for the mom and her children. The family is requesting financial assistance of $1800 towards the security deposit needed to move into the new apartment. Mother reports she is trying to move by the 1st or 15th of April.

A compassionate and dedicated caregiver has recently taken in her 15-year-old grandson, who was put out of his home during the cold weather. The caregiver is on a fixed income and is in urgent need of support with groceries while she applies for benefits for her grandson. Her current food supply is very limited, and her teenage grandson is a growing teen who needs food for fuel. She is seeking assistance through a program that could provide groceries or a grocery gift card to a store such as Kroger or Walmart to help stock food in the home. Recently, she lost her driver's license, and she is in the process of getting a new driver's license, so the pantry has been turning her down. She has exhausted all the resources in the community, and at this time she is desperately needing support with groceries. Any level of support would be greatly appreciated, even if it does not meet the full requested amount, she is desperately seeking support. Her grandchild was left in the cold and she has taken him in.

Family includes recently turned 13-month-old female and her young mother. The child was placed outside of the home due to safety concerns. The Department is planning to reunify the mother and child in approximately 10 days. Mother is without a car seat that would be size appropriate for her 1-year-old, as her previous car seat (an infant carrier) is no longer appropriate. Mother is currently between jobs, so she does not have the finances to purchase a car seat. Please consider helping this family.

A single mother is moving back into her own housing. Her husband, soon to be ex husband, was living there while she was in treatment. He is moving out and taking some belongings. There is no fridge in the home and the children won't have a bed. A tv stand is needed but not a necessity.

Recently, this mother made the courageous decision to leave a long-term, mentally abusive marriage to seek a better environment and home for her 11-year-old son and herself. She has also started taking college classes to get her degree to provide future support. She is participating in Pathway's DivorceCare where she is building supportive relationships as she starts this new journey with her son. She is moving into her own apartment and is needing some essential items. Their favorite color is any color of blue. Her son is also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Her bedroom set is the queen size and his is the full size.

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.
