I would like to tell you about a family and their very long struggle-but they never lost hope. For the past eight months, a family of five—two parents and three young children—has faced the overwhelming struggles of homelessness. They've moved from shelters to hotels, to staying with friends, and back to shelters again. Through it all, they've held onto hope, but the journey has been heart-wrenching. Thanks to support from the shelter and their community, this family has finally secured a home, but they still face a long road ahead. They are starting from scratch, needing essential household items to make their new space livable—things we often take for granted like furniture, kitchenware, and bedding. We will be helping them with a pack and play, an alarm for the door, food and towels and wash clothes. I was not able to add this to the list of needs but they also need a trash can, a mop, and a shower curtain and rings. We ask for your help in providing these necessities to this family in need. Your generosity can give them the stability and comfort they’ve been longing for. With your support, they can start fresh in their new home, knowing they are loved and cared for by a community that believes in hope and renewal.
