Story
The client currently resides with her mother-in-law, her boyfriend, and their 5-month-old baby. She has been struggling with depression and recently underwent a surgical procedure, which has left her feeling isolated at home. She misses spending time with her mother and sister, who live just 20 minutes away by walking, but struggles to visit them due to a lack of transportation for her and the baby. The client believes that a stroller would help her regain the ability to visit her family more frequently, which would benefit her emotional well-being and strengthen family connections. In addition to the stroller, the client also requires bus passes for more mobility, as public transportation is her primary means of getting around. Furthermore, the client is in need of groceries, as they are also facing financial hardship. Her baby is also in need of clothes. Client's current needs as follows: baby stroller; bus passes for about 2 months, groceries, and clothes for the baby (using 8-9 month old). *****NOTE: “This request is being submitted by Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County on behalf of the client.
