Hi, I have a client who's expecting her first child due May 10, 2025. Her and her partner are very excited for their baby but are facing a lot of financial difficulties. Her partner was without employment for quite a long period of time but has just recently got a job! Since this is their first baby they have a lot of items yet to be purchased and are working with quite a small budget. They're requesting help with an infant car seat and stroller combo. This would allow them to bring baby home safely from the hospital as well as have the ability to get around by foot or bus. They would be more than grateful for any type of help offered to them. Hello I have an adoptive single mom that is needing to get a physical in order to adopt her foster child. Foster mom has her own child also and in order to get the physical completed the doctor's office is requiring her to pay $75 to get the form and physical completed. Foster mom has been trying to get this done for a few months now and is having issues getting it completed. Adoption cannot happen until the physical is completed and this is the only thing needed to get an adoption date. If you can help with this need it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Children came into system because of mother's mental health and substance use. The father was found and happy to reunite with his young children because mother had kept him away from them. After many good visits, the court released the children to the father but his home is small and there are 2 adults and 3 other children already in the home. He desperately needs a bunk bed for his children. DCFS has been promising but it hasn't happened. Also, his rent was recently raised and his wife lost her job. A gift of bed and mattresses would be incredibly helpful for this family.

Family has been dealing with homelessness. It is dad, son, and two daughters. Mom recently was arrested. Dad contacted me today saying their hotel stay is up today. We will be on spring break next week. I have asked dad if they have anyone to stay with and he keeps saying no.

Dad and two little girls can't stay at shelter because they can't be on the same side.

He says the hotel stay is 350.00 for the week - They are are the deluxe inn

This request is for a family that had a call come in through the hotline. This family is a single mother with 5 children. They have recently left an abusive relationship and gotten an apartment after living in the shelter for a time. Mother is doing well in her job, but is facing struggles with having to leave the job often due to the children's emotional struggles in school. The children ages range from 0-12. the baby will be one year old this month. This mother has just enrolled the children in therapy which will take some more time from work and will require more travel. Being able to help her with some gas money would take some of that financial stress off her mind. Anything would help. Thank you so much for your time reading this!

Recently, this mother made the courageous decision to leave a long-term, mentally abusive marriage to seek a better environment and home for her 11-year-old son and herself. She has also started taking college classes to get her degree to provide future support. She is participating in Pathway's DivorceCare where she is building supportive relationships as she starts this new journey with her son. She is moving into her own apartment and is needing some essential items. Their favorite color is any color of blue. Her son is also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Her bedroom set is the queen size and his is the full size.

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.
