Family is in need of 2 laptop computers. Mom needs one to help with getting employment and possible remote work, while dad needs on because he does school online. Family is currently living with paternal grandmother due to financial struggles. Dad is on disability and mom currently lost her job with Universal and is need of a laptop to fill out applications and possible remote work as stated earlier. The parents have three children. Paternal grandma only has a 2 bedroom and the family is working with Diversion to obtain housing soon because there is too many people in a tiny apartment. The laptops will provide the parents with a tool to get work and education towards work which will help family get a place and a more stable environment. Two laptops would be awesome, but 1 would be ok too. They are appreciative for any help.

The client is a 25-year-old woman of African American descent residing with her partner and four children. The client is in her 2 months postpartum period. The client is currently unemployed, and her three older children are in school. The client has been engaged in services seeking mental health support for post-partum depression and coping with past trauma. The client's twins are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and are experiencing a delay in potty training. Care portal’s case management services will provide the client an opportunity to purchase clothing for her children that support their sensory and developmental needs. Support from Care portal will minimize the financial burden during this time. Client's needs as follows: clothing for her son size 4T-pants w/strings; clothing for ther daughter size 12 pants, 10-12 shirts; clothing for another daughter size 5t shirts; clothing for the mother size 15/16-pants and Large/XL-shirt size. *****NOTE: “This request is being submitted by Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County on behalf of the client. As a parent, you want to do whatever you can to make sure that your children are comfortable and cared for. This mom is no different. The family is living in a 2 bedroom apartment and mom has chosen to give the bedrooms to her son and daughters. That means that mom has been sleeping on a pullout couch. Recently, the bed part of this couch broke leaving mom with no where to sleep. Mom is looking for a new pullout couch that she can use as a couch during the day and a bed at night. This item does not need to be new, gently used will be just fine for this family.

Having her hours cut at work has caused this single mom to fall behind on her Duke bill. Mom is trying to get a new job that will help her get her head above water, but in the meantime, she is seeking a little help to cover her expenses. Mom is planning to go back to school to advance her nursing certifications and she is pursuing assistance with this already. This family just needs a little extra help to get themselves back on track after a medical procedure that ultimately caused her be in this position.

Single Father J has 4 children at home including N(11yo F) who is in DCF custody. Recently, J found himself unemployed. He is looking for a job that will allow him to be at home when the children come back from school. It is has been difficult for him to find a part time job. Due to the financial strain J has fallen behind on his utilities. He currently owes $495.77 to Evergy. Any help towards this would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.
