There is a family that speaks Chuukese that is facing a possible eviction. The mother is disabled due to losing her lower limbs because of Diabetes. The father has been in and out of work, and the family is over $2,000 behind on rent. The landlord has asked them to leave or else he will go through the legal process of evicting them. Their son is going to stay at the Noyes Home while dad tries to find stable work and housing. I am requesting a three-month (which is the target discharge date for their son for his stay at the Noyes Home) bus pass for dad, while he looks for work, so he has a way to get around to job interviews and to work once he finds a job.

Our client is new to Canada and came here because she had to flee from an abusive relationship in her home Country in Africa. She is alone and pregnant. She is due to have a C-section for sure by April 14th if not sooner. She is in need of a car seat/stroller combo to be able to bring baby home from hospital. And also because public transit is her only option for getting around, the stroller is needed as well. She is so lovely and will be so grateful for any help.

This family consists of a single 22 year old mother and a 5 year old boy. The 5 year old boy is in need of undergarments, shoes, and clothing. The mother is a single mother who works full time and has recently been a victim of DV. The child needs shoes, socks, pants, underwear, and shirts. He wears the following sizes: shirts 7/8, pants 7/8, shoes 13.5 and underwear and socks 7/8 as well.

A family in the community is currently in urgent need of housing. The family has been forced to evacuate from their home due to the condition being unfit for the children. Arrangements for the repairs are being coordinated, however, due to the home's unlivable environment, the children are unable to return at this time. The family has been residing in a motel for several weeks, but their financial resources have been exhausted. With no other friends or family to offer accommodation, the children will be at risk of entering foster care upon the conclusion of their stay. Given that the repairs are extensive, it is unknown when the children will be able to return home, however the family would be able to stay in a camper on their property until the repairs are completed. Staying in a camper would alleviate the finances of the motel so that the family could that money towards the repairs. The Department is requesting a donated camper or trailer for the family of 5 to reside in temporarily. The family consists of two adults a 14 y/o, 12 y/o, and 9 y/o.

Additionally, the family would greatly benefit from gas cards to ensure the children can continue getting to school and their appointments as one of the children has very high needs.

Family of 5 recently housed needing 2 twin mattresses. The two children are currently sleeping on the floor, so as soon as they have a mattress they will be able to sleep better and be more present at school

A family in our church had a five year old girl placed with them yesterday. She arrived with very little and needs basic items. She will be moving schools and the family has asked that she have some new items to ease this transition, along with every day items.

Our foster family of 7 with a baby on the way is in need of a meal train the week their baby is born (due date is May 3rd). We're hoping to have 5+ people sign up to each bring a large meal (10 servings) the week the baby is born. This will make a tremendous difference for this family as they transition into life with a newborn.

A father has recently gotten housing and needs items for him and his son to be comfortable in their home. A few items are listed but the apartment needs all the basics for living. Financial assistance is also welcome to help purchase needed items.

A couple in our church community are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. The mom-to-be would greatly appreciate if someone could come to their home and put together a dresser while her husband is away at basic training. They are located in Cary.

There is a family within our church who is changing their housing situation. They need help with their water deposit to insure their housing situation.
