The caregiver is a single parent to her 2 children in the home (ages When the children were initially placed by the Department in April 2024, she lost her job due to having so many back-to-back appointments. She was able to regain employment; however, has been struggling keep up with her own expenses and the new increase of the children placed. The family recently moved to a two-story home. The caregiver was able to move and furnish most of the items in the home. However, she is still in need of some minor items: -A toddler bed (with mattress) -2 safety gates for stairs The addition of the above items will allow the caregiver to ensure appropriate bedding for the toddler currently in a crib, but is already getting too big for it. The addition of the safety gates on the stirs will allow for an additional safety measure in the household, since there is a 1 year old placed in the home.
