This resilient mother of four, ranging in age from 11 months to 13 years. When she first came to SFTSM, she was working full-time, living in an emergency shelter with her infant (recovering from major surgery), while her older children stayed with coworkers. She left an abusive relationship where she supported the family alone, working multiple jobs.

Despite unimaginable challenges, this mom has made remarkable progress. She’s maintained full-time employment, earned a promotion, and started therapy for herself and her children. She's also learning to care for her baby’s G-Tube with precision and consistency.

This mom attends every case management appointment, pays program fees on time, and embraces faith, support, and growth. She uses tools like the “Brain Dump” to stay organized—recently completing over a dozen critical tasks for her family.

We recently received a donated 2011 Toyota Sienna from a longtime donor. After coordinating with Generous Jalopy for a safety inspection, we learned the van needs $2,500 in essential repairs. We’re seeking help to fund these repairs so this family can have safe, reliable transportation. With this support, they will continue building a better life.

This request is to assist a mother with two children. She is in need of a phone and phone minute card to assist her with getting a job. She visits with one child regularly and also needs this to communicate with her different providers.

We have a single mother of a teen girl, employed full time. She is on need of a washer/dryer combo for a condo. Her current living space is in need of several repairs. This little one had previously been living in another kinship placement and has now been placed with his grandma. At just 2 years old, this child has already experienced a great deal of transition. Providing him with a stable, loving home is absolutely essential to his development and well-being. Children at this age need consistency, safety, and nurturing relationships to begin forming healthy attachments and to feel secure in the world around them. This apartment would give both grandma and her grandson a fresh start—a safe, stable environment where they can begin to create a sense of home and routine. Mom needs two twin-size bed frames, mattresses, and bedding sets for her son and daughter.

JD knows of a woman who needs help with a hearing aid deductible. He tried to receive assistance through Passport but was denied through two different programs. Her deductible is $250. She lives in Pickerington and I have her name, address and phone number on hand.
