A single mother currently has custody of her 15-year-old stepdaughter and is raising five children on her own. Since the stepdaughter has come into her care, she has been sharing a bedroom with the stepmother’s biological daughter. In an effort to make space for her, the stepmother gave up her daughter’s dresser, but they are now in need of an additional dresser so that both girls have a place to store their clothes. The family is also facing clothing shortages. The stepmother’s two-year-old son is growing rapidly and wears size 4T in shirts, pants, and underwear. Due to his growth and the family’s limited financial resources, she is struggling to keep up with his wardrobe needs. The girls in the home are also in need of undergarments. They wear bra sizes 34C and 32D, and underwear in sizes extra small and medium. Additionally, the two-year-old does not currently sleep in his own room. The stepmother is working to help him transition, but he needs a toddler bed frame and a mattress to make that possible.

We have an EMA Mom who is in program and expecting a baby. She is resilient and spunky! During her time in the program, she has managed to find and pay for housing but then last week her car died on the side of the road. And still she smiles! While she has gotten almost everything she needs for Baby Boy, she still needs a bassinet. Taking care of the is need could really be a way to help her feel loved! We would ask that that the item be "like new" in condition.

Johnson County Children's Division is attempting to help a single mother that has worked hard to get herself and her 6 children out of a homeless shelter. The family is in need of 3 sets of bunk beds. The mother has located housing but just needs beds for the children to sleep on.

This family is in Safe Baby Court in Maury County and has a current DCS case. Family consists of mom and dad, 4 year old boy and 8 month old girl. This family has worked hard to keep their family together and was a risk of removal at one time. The family was overwhelmed with have young children, working full time, and maintaining appointments. The home was in disarray along with 6 cats, two dogs, and a rabbit. The family has rehomed majority of the animals, but their couch was already ruined by some of the cats. The family is in great need of a new or used sectional or Couch and Loveseat. The family could use help disposing of current sectional in the home. The apartment is on the second floor.

The family also needs a camara on the front door of the apartment. Mom has a no contact order on the father of the 4 year old boy and would feel safer if she was able to see who is at the door before opening the door. And to monitor the home while away.

A local father has been sober for over a year and has committed the next year of his life to helping other men walk the road to recovery. He is part of a faith-based program focused on healing and restoration.

Recently, his soon-to-be ex-wife—who is sadly battling addiction—unexpectedly dropped off their 2-year-old daughter and stated she no longer wants to be involved in the child’s life. This precious little girl was dropped off with nothing. The father, though heartbroken for his daughter and her mother, is stepping up to raise her on his own.

I would like to say “thank you” on behalf of my family. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. I know that this is a temporary situation because I will be back in the workforce as soon as we get the support we need to get going. My story is long, but I will make it as concise as possible. When I got married to my wife, she had a boy, whom I love dearly. He is on the autism spectrum. I bring him up because everything that is going on is hardest on him. I had a job selling cars, and I made many sales, but what was promised was not paid. I lost several months giving my all to a job that did not cover my bills. I got a new job driving a school bus. At that time, we were living in my father’s house. That’s when the twins arrived. This was too much for him. He was always in a bad mood. His temper always got the better of him. We were afraid for the babies. M and J were afraid to be there when I wasn’t there, and I was afraid for them. One night he just cam in to the room screaming at my wife saying what s going on since the babies were crying and Meghan was getting frustrated with the babies he seemed like he was ready to hit one of us how angry he seemed .at the the time we were holding the babies I had to make a hard decision to keep my family safe cause it would of just gotten worse. We left to stay at a friend’s house, where we are now....but we have to leave very soon. Now we have no income and no savings. Thank you again for listening and all of your help.

Hungry Hearts Kitchen Ministry is seeking donations to help with the purchase of groceries to supply 4 families with a hot meal. These families are either involved in foster care or in the midst of some difficult life circumstance. Would you be willing to contribute? Always looking for volunteers as well. Isaiah 58: 10-14 “Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be bright as noon.”

Single mom is trying to move into a home of her own after staying in a shelter with her three children is seeking a few items for the household. Items needed include a microwave, table, toddler bed and a couch. She is incredibly appreciative of the help that has provided already from Pathway Church but these few items would greatly improve the quality of life and well being of her family as they settle into a new life. Gently used items would be wonderful or donation!

Please help a single father and two children currently living out of their van. The van has been the father’s only means of work. To make matters worse the van is currently broke down and needing a new transmission. We are asking for funds to get the van running and to provide groceries for this family.

Another church referred this family to us. Single mom, having a hard time, needs beds for her four children. We would like to help her by supplying beds.
