Summer, Summer, Summer TIME!! Our kiddos want to play outside!! I've got 2 rambunctious beautiful 5-year-old girls who both would love to have their very own FIRST bikes! Summer is here and what could be better than learning how to ride your very own first bike along side your very best friend and soon to be forever sister, not to mention all of the confidence these amazing little girls will gain right before starting kindergarten next year! HOORAY to becoming big girls! I have included links to possible bikes for each of the girls however, we will be extremely grateful for any donations!

This request is for a youth that has aged out of the foster care system and is in the Extended Foster Care Program. They just turned 18 and recently moved placements. The stipend for clothing went to the previous caregiver and this new caregiver is in need of resources for her new placement. The youth requested the following: they are 22 xxl in jeans/pants (they are tall, fyi); shirts - xxl (pattern and plain is fine and any colors except for brown)

After years of separation caused by circumstances beyond their control, a 16-year-old in foster care is finally ready to reunite with their father and stepmother in Georgia. This isn’t just a visit—it’s a permanent, long-awaited move home. The bond between father and child has been carefully and lovingly rebuilt over time, and the family is overjoyed to welcome their teen into a stable, supportive home. Now, with the school year coming to a close, everything is in place—except the funds to get them there.

We’re asking for your help to cover the cost of a plane ticket and the extra baggage fees, and shipping fees needed to bring the teen's belongings—things that make a young person feel like they’re bringing their life with them, not starting from scratch. Help a child in foster care find their forever home, where love and safety wait with open arms. Your support could make that dream a reality. Every donation is a step closer to family, healing, and hope. We appreciate any support and funding that can be provided to help this child become part of their family again.

A 16-year-old in foster care is preparing for a life-changing move to reunite with their father and stepmother—finally heading to their forever home. While this moment is full of hope, it also comes with anxiety. After experiencing a devastating loss in the past where all of their belongings were lost, the idea of putting their things on a plane feels deeply unsettling.

To help ease this worry, we’re hoping to provide luggage tracking tags (like AirTags or similar tracking devices) for their multiple bags. Being able to see where their belongings are would bring immense peace of mind during an already emotional and overwhelming transition. If you can contribute funds or send a tracker directly, you’ll be offering more than just technology—you’ll be offering comfort, security, and a small sense of control in a big, uncertain moment.

I am reaching out with an urgent request on behalf of a family in immediate need of support. This family consists of a mother and her 13-year-old son, who, as of today, are without stable housing and will be sleeping in their car tonight. The young boy is on an IEP and is particularly vulnerable, as gets frightened easily and struggles with unfamiliar environments. We are respectfully requesting assistance to secure temporary shelter for them—ideally, hotel accommodations for at least four nights. The cost is approximately $70 per night. This support would provide them with a safe, stable space while we work to connect them with longer-term resources. Any help during this critical time would mean so much. Volunteer Opportunity: Help Deliver Groceries to Pickerington Seniors and Residents with Disabilities

The Pickerington Area Resource Coalition seeks 9 dedicated volunteers to assist with monthly grocery deliveries for seniors and individuals with disabilities in the Pickerington community.

Our next delivery date is Thursday, May 1. Volunteers will pick up pre-packed grocery bags at Kroger (7833 Refugee Rd.) between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and deliver them to recipients' homes within Pickerington.

All names and addresses will be provided in advance. This is a recurring opportunity, taking place once a month.

An expectant mother is in need of basic items for a newborn due later this month April. The mother's community health coach requested a pack-n-play (bassinet), infant car seat, diapers, wipes. These items will allow the child safe transport and a safe sleeping environment. The diapers and wipes will supply the baby's needs for a few weeks. We still need funds for the CARSEAT and DIAPERS. You may click, "Yes, I Can Help!" if you would like to donate funds so we can purchase the items. Or, you can bring any items you'd like to purchase to church -- diapers (newborn or size 1). A single mom recently moved from the shelter into her own apartment with her daughter with special needs. Her daughter is blind, autistic and has other complications from Optic Nerve hypoplasia. Mom states that she works but with her rent being $900 a month it has left her unable to provide a few necessary items. The home does not have a working a/c and high heat places the young child at risk of a stroke. A window unit could help provide comfort and wellbeing for the child. The home could use a few items including couch cover up as well as girls clothes size 10-12. Mom also stated that her daughter’s favorite item is an electric keyboard piano but she accidentally bumped into it and it broke. She has not been able to afford to buy a new or used one. A used one that someone could donate would be great! Any help with these few items would be greatly appreciated and significantly improve the life of a mom and child who have been through a lot.

Hello church family! We have been walking together with a mom who has a 17 yr old daughter who is having a baby boy this Easter weekend! Let's shower this family with meals for the next couple of weeks so they can focus on caring for this new little one.

We had a family of 10 come to us about 2 weeks ago. They had moved here from Arizona with housing lined out and a job. Unfortunatley the housing fell through 2 hours before they got to Oklahoma. They were forced to use the funds they had to live in a hotel. When that money ran out they came to us and we were able to put them up for 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks the father started working and has found a 5 bedroom home locally but doesn't have the full amount for the deposit. They can move in as early as today but are missing that 1200.00. Thank you in advance for your faithfulness!
