The Department is working with a single mother and her four boys, ages 10, 8, 5, 1 due to concerns for injurious environment. Mother is currently out of work and is in need of assistance with furniture. The family is need of a kitchen table (seats 6) due to their old table breaking. The mother is in need of a queen bedframe/box spring. Any assitance is greatly appreciated.

Dawson County mom's home is in need of 123 sq ft of flooring for a bathroom or laundry room. There are two children in foster care (11 and 13) and this request is an essential part of getting this mom's home approved to be able to have the kids come to the home and eventually reunify in the home.

I am requesting assistance for food items for a single mother and her son. She is currently in Phase 2 of the Treatment Court program and doing well. She has maintained full time employment throughout her time in the program and has suitable housing. She is struggling with higher bills at this time, and we would love to help alleviate immediate needs her and her child have.

Adopted family has an autistic child with some medical needs. This little boy has had to undergo multiple surgeries and possibly more in the future. His condition causes severe pain. When he is not in pain, he is the sweetest little boy but when he is in pain he has violent outbursts. Before the family moved to their current town they had him in biofeedback therapy which helped him regulate his emotions. But due to the family's current location there are no providers. There is a Biofeedback program which can be done at home but insurance will not cover the cost. We are hoping to find a sponsor willing to pay for a year's subscription which is $336.

The family consists of mother, who is on medical leave as she is due to have a child in the next few weeks, and five children. The children's ages are 13, 11, 9, 8, and 5. The family has a need of three twin beds. The oldest child has mental disabilities that are being treated, but has ruined some of her siblings beds. The family is on a wait list for new beds, but has heard that they will most likely not receive anything for 18 months. Because mother is currently on medical leave, she cannot afford to buy more beds for the other children. When the family receives the beds, it will help the mother relax as she gets closer to her due date and not have to make her other children sleep more than one to a bed.

A single Mom of two and expecting in August, was recently left on her own. She is struggling to pay all the bills herself and is short on April rent by $550 and utilities by $200. We have some ideas of some programs to assist her with funding and case management wrap around services going forward, but need to cover April in full before May hits. Any amount is appreciated. This request is for a family with 3 children, one of the children is an adoptive placement. This family needs 6 dining chairs. Several of the families dining chairs have broken or are not safe for use. If you have used dining chairs you would like to donate or would like to purchase new ones, I know this family would greatly appreciate it.

Family is being reunited and has a new home. Working on gathering things to make it feel more like a home and help them get back on their feet. Starting with the beds. I have a full size bed for mom, but looking for twin size beds for each of the two boys. Mom has asked for pillows and I would love to find them bedding as well. Boys are into Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog but anything blue would work.

A single mother who is the full-time caregiver for her disabled daughter is struggling to pay her rent after her monthly payment went up. She has starting driving for DoorDash and is looking for other ways to earn income while caring for her child, but she has gotten behind. She needs $262 by May2nd to avoid eviction. Our church is working together with a family who was recently homeless and is getting back on their feet. For years they have been deeply invested in serving our community. The mother has been a constant source of support, providing food and childcare assistance to local churches, always giving selflessly to others.
