Single mother of 2 boys ages 15 and 3 in need of rental assistance. Any amount contributed will greatly help this family. 1100 is needed in total for partial rent for May and June. Mother just started a new job and paid to have a window in her vehicle fixed and due to this unexpected cost she has fallen behind in rent. Mother is working full time and can maintain future payment but is unable to catch up and maintain the basic needs of her family.

Caregiver is a maternal aunt with three nieces in her care. Unexpectedly the aunt had a medical emergency of her own and could no longer work. The children are in need of summer clothes as they have grown out of their clothes and the unexpected income change the family has become difficult to meet the needs. Child 1 is in need of shirts size 14, pants size 14 slim, and shoes size 7 in women. Child 2 is in need of shirt size 12, pants size 12, and shoes size 5. Child 3 is in need of shirts and pants size 6 in toddler, and shoes size 10 in toddler. This will help the caregiver as she is overcoming some barriers due to the unexpected medical emergency. The children will also have the proper clothing according to the hot weather.

FM request assistance with purchasing a high chair due to lost/stolen cash card and being unable to access funds to meet the needs of her 9-month-old child in OKDHS custody. She has 2 child of her own ages 2yo and a 1yo. She said a second high chair will make feeding time more manageable. She said the least expensive high chair she could find was $70 but if anyone locates one at a lesser value she is grateful to accept. Any help provided is greatly appreciated.

A kinship care placement has been supported by Safe Families for 3 years. The family has gained stability and shown resilience through difficult times. The guardian who has cared for the children for the majority of the children's lives is in the process of getting full guardianship. Through this process home visits are being done to ensure the home is a safe living space for the children. The family is in need of 2 beds to meet this standard. Due to minimal space in the home the family requests a twin bunk bed to save space and provide the necessary sleeping arrangements for the children.

A kindship care placement has been supported by Safe Families for the last 3 years. This guardian has supported and created stability for 4 children due to this placement. The family has been resilient through ups and downs and have begun to thrive. 3 of the children are still in car seat boosters but all three have either broken or the children have grown out of them. The family is requesting 3 new car seat/booster with a back to ensure the safety of all 3 children while driving.

A mother is no longer able to take her medication since she cannot afford and no longer able to pay her bills and work. She is taking the steps to get her medication started back up for physical and mental state. Since she is not able to work due to having her disability she is not able to afford her rent. She has an eviction notice and needing to get her rent paid in the next 3 days. She currently has 3 children living in the house, an eight year old, 13 year old, and a 17 year old. She is a single mother and is never late with paying her rent. She could use all the help that she could get in order to prevent homelessness for her family.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
