A loving family opened their home and adopted four children and have three biological children. The family is desperate to increase security measures throughout their home as they work through significant behavioral challenges with one of their adoptive children. This would provide the family with peace of mind when they cannot have eyes in all areas of their home. They need two cameras at $225/each and a $75 installation fee with a total of $525. Assistance with the funding of the cameras would help give the family the ability to move quickly and allow their funding to be more allocated to their children's care.

Their eighth-grade son learned to use public transportation last fall to help reduce transportation expenses, but now needs a new spring/summer bus pass to continue his activities. I am connecting her to community resources, including St. Vincent de Paul's Charitable Pharmacy and food pantries at Lighthouse and Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Their son has the opportunity to participate in Lighthouse's annual eighth-grade mission trip, but needs essential items, including bedding (sleeping bag, sheets, pillow) and appropriate clothing. A mother, her partner, and young son recently tried to move into an apartment in Cleveland. However, upon arrival, their unit was unlocked and unlivable with broken glass and exposed wires everywhere. They were financially drained from their travels and lost even more money having to travel back to Cincinnati. They currently cannot find care for their son, as he is nonverbal, has frequent meltdowns, and often tries to run out of the house and into the street. Mom cannot seem to find anywhere that can diagnose him officially to put him in specialized care so they feel their only way to care for him at this time is to put him in foster care while both mom and her partner work to save money to bring him back into their home. They currently have no working washer and dryer in the house and are working to obtain newer clothes to hold them over until they are able to receive free laundromat services in their area from Laundry Love Cincinnati. They are behind on laundry in general after their journey to and from Cleveland.

This family has rent that is due May 3rd. The mother is looking for work and has run out of resources.

Individual has had numerous on going medical issues and concerns coming up on 2 years now. he has been unable to work and with financial struggles with making rent, utilities, etc. He has been denied for county and state assistance due crazy reason for example the value of his assets which he only owns 1 car which is non drivable at the moment . This request is for a Summit family in need of some assistance. A single mom with 5 kids is moving into a new home. The purchase of the home along with expensive closing costs have made furnishing the home extremely difficult. In addition to the needs list, they could use bedding for each bed. Several of the families dining chairs have broken or are not safe for use. Mom is being reunited with her sons after a domestic violence situation and has a new home. Working on gathering things to make it feel more like a home and help them get back on their feet. Starting with the beds. I have a full size bed for mom, and one twin mattress, but looking to complete the twin size beds for each of the two boys. Mom has asked for pillows and I would love to find them bedding as well. Boys are into Pokemon and Sonic the Hedgehog but anything blue would work. This family is working with Clay County Children's Services but has moved to Leavenworth area. Our Regional field manager reached out to me directly as there isn't really support in LV CarePortal wise right now. I have updated the amounts if we were to purchase items for the family. We have a couple from our church needing our help with rent assistance. A while ago, the husband lost his job, which made them rely solely on the wife's income. Since then, the husband found new employment and they are starting to get back on track. Although both are working, the couple is struggling to catch up on rent.
